A George III fruitwood rectangular tea caddy, c.1800, with mother of pearl diamond escutcheon, the hinged lid opening to reveal the removable cut glass bowl, flanked by a pair of removable caddies topped with raised oval shaped hinged lifters, 12in. (30cm.) wide.* Condition: In good condition, damage to cross banding on front right corner of lid, no key.
A Regency partridge wood tea caddy, c.1800, of small proportions, rectangular form with canted corners, inlaid with ebony & boxwood stringing, diamond shaped ivory escutcheon, the hinged lid opening to reveal twin compartments with lift off lids and turned ivory handles, later green baize fitted to caddies and inner lid.
A Victorian transfer printed tea caddy, last quarter 19th century, possibly Scottish, of rectangular form, the exterior with all over transfer printed decoration of foliate decorated checquer panels, the interior with two compartments, the lids with green and cream striped decoration within gilt foliate borders, 10½ x 5 7/8in. (26.75 x 15cm.).* Condition: All over crazing to exterior decoration. Minor losses to edges of lid and corners. Original velvet to base in good condition. Lacks escutcheon. Interior good, with some small chips to edges of lids. Flaking to lead foiled lining inside compartments. Velvet inside lid is lifting at edges a little. No key.
A George III satinwood tea caddy, of rectangular form, with circular brass handles to sides, inlaid banding, and geometric ebony decoration, the hinged lid opening to reveal three storage compartments with lift off lids, standing on four brass floral paw feet, 13¾in. (35cm.) long.* Condition: Some of the banding around caddy is lifting and a few little pieces missing, foil missing from compartments, otherwise good.
