An 18th Century Elizabeth Boot Sutton (Sutton in Ashfield Nottinghamshire) 30 hour long case clock with 12" brass dial, subsidiary seconds dial, recocco style spandrels. Contained in a oak case with long trunk door The hood has applied turned columns and walnut veneer to the panel above the hood door. Caddy top to case.Note The Boot family where clockmaker in Sutton in Ashfield from 1725 to approximately 1792Elizabeth Boot was one of very few female clockmakers in the UK she was working From 1740 to 1780Dimensions 83" x 17" x 10"Condition report. Case looks to be in good condition some scratches and marks due to age.

Further marked C.F. HANCOCK 39 BRUTON ST. LONDON on the underside. Lacking one lock. The hinges are in good condition. No personalised engraving or evidence of erasure. Some minor surface wear but generally in good condition commensurate with age.

The hinge is in good condition, and the cover closes well. Retains the lock but without a key. In generally very good condition.
A GEORGE III SILVER NOVELTY CADDY SPOON by Josiah Snatt, London 1806, in the form of a hand, with finely modelled fingers, engraved nails and cuff handle. 6.6cm longThe maker's mark is partly stamped. The other three marks on the underside of the cuff handle are crisp and clear. This rare model of caddy spoon is prone to damage, but this example is in very good condition without splits or losses. Minor surface wear commensurate with age.
