Some tarnishing. Would benefit from a clean. Some light surface scratching.
A Victorian rosewood tea caddy, of sarcophagus form, inlaid vases, flowers and foliage, the interior with a central mixing bowl (chipped) flanked by two lidded tea canisters BG, 37 cm wide See illustration Condition report Report by GHGenerally very well presented.Veneer and inlay in good condition with no real issues, except the odd split down the grain of the wood commensurate with age.One of the carved handles is possibly a replacement (the one on the right).Interior also in good condition.The cut glass mixing bowl has a chipped foot rim and isn't an exact flushed fit into its space.
