A late 18th century mahogany tea caddy and a similar candle box, 52cm. Condition - fair Tea caddy cover with wear caused by white metal handle; lock replaced with some hard wax inserted to fill gaps; feet replaced by later base-board/plinth. Candle box hinges loose; vertical split to one side, approx. 20cm; backboard with chipped sections at sides causing instability to backboard; baseboard split full-width; base corners chipped.
A fine quality George IV cast silver 'Grapevine' tea caddy spoon, Mary Ann & Charles Reilly, London 1828, realistically modelled and chased as a leaf with grapes and twisted stem handle, length 7cm . Condition Report:No damage or repair, only extremely light wear to high points, still heavy, hallmarks clear.
