A late 18th/early 19th century polychrome sparrow beak jug, possibly Worcester, together with a blue and white sparrow beak jug, possibly Caughley, a Worcester cylindrical mug decorated with a harbour scene, a blue and white chinoiserie lidded vessel and a Delft ware caddy. Tallest 14 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The blue and white sparrow beak jug is in generally good condition. There is a firing imperfection to the top lip by the sparrow beak and a discoloured hairline type mark in the fold where the sparrow beak joins the main body. This is more firing mark than hairline crack but is grey in colour and runs for about 6 mm from the top lip. The handle is in good order. The pattern is generally in good condition. There are no problems with the foot rim. The polychrome jug has a discoloured spout, a small chip and hairline crack running from the centre of the sparrow beak down the channel to the main body of the jug. The handle is in good order. The main body is in generally good condition as is the pattern. The foot rim has two large chips, principally to the underside edge. The interior is a little discoloured. The Worcester mug has had a break and repair to the handle. There is a wavy hairline crack running across the base visible from the underside and from within. The gilding is a little rubbed. The painting is in generally good order with minor paint losses to the bottom edge. The blue painted panel appears to have been repainted but it is difficult to tell what this might be obscuring. The Delft tea caddy is in generally good condition with only minor imperfections to the unglazed section of the foot rim. The lidded vessel is in generally good order with no issues. There are some minor losses to the gilding but other than this no problems.
