A 19th century Cantonese lacquered papier mache tea caddy, the exterior decorated with figures in a fan making factory, the interior with two lead tea canisters and covers, 10cm H x 21.5cm W x 14.5cm D CONDITION REPORT: General age wear, silght cracks and lacquer chips to the corners and around the base. Hinges bent but still happily opens and closes. Some gilt wear. Area to oval panel to cover dented. Some attention may be needed. The lead canister covers are slightly misshapen. Felt underside.
