An Early Victorian Papier Mache Tea Caddy, of cushioned rectangular form, painted with exotic birds amongst foliage and gilt with scrolls, the stepped hinged cover opening to reveal two canisters with lidded compartments and a cut glass mixing bowl, with silver-plate caddy spoon 35cm wide All over crazing, particularly to painted panels on main lid, individual caddy lids and internal base. Various general wear, scratches, slight urface loss, marks, discolouration etc.

Three hallmarked silver George III caddy spoons.* Condition: The circular bowl spoon by William Pinder has a soldered repair to the joint of bowl and stem (just before it splits). There is also a repair to edge of the bowl beside the joint with one side of the stem. The maker's mark is clear but the other marks are rubbed. The shell bowl spoon is in good condition. The shaped bowl spoon has a possible area of reshaping to the left hand edge of the bowl, at the corner before it narrows towards the stem. The marks are clear on both of these spoons.
