A group of jewellery, attributed to McNair and engraved to the reverse with the letter R, as in the present lot, was sold at Christie’s, London, in 1992. A Regency mother of pearl tea caddy and a card caseCondition report: Loss of some of the mother of pearl panels on the tea caddy. Chipping to the panels on the rim of the base. Staining and marking to the inside of the caddy, and damage to the green velvet interior. One leg is loose but attached. There is a dent to the base. Damage and loss to the exterior of the card case, with damage to the interior lining. Some loss is provided inside the caddy.
'Bell China' Fine Bone China Tea Service, comprising eleven cups, twelve saucers, twelve side plates, a bread and butter plate, a milk jug and sugar bowl. All in green marbled ground with white and gilt decoration.
