A LATE 19TH CENTURY BLACK FOREST TEA CADDY, or rectangular form, the hinged cover carved with two game birds amongst foliage, two covered compartments, the base carved with flowers and foliage, on four leaf carved feet, width 34cm x depth 21.5cm x height 33.5cmCondition: the carving is in good order, no losses were spotted at the time of this report, the ebonising is quite worn throughout, the hinges are a little bent and although the lid fits flush at the front of the caddy it is gaping towards the back, one of the glass panels in the left hand caddy is loose in it frame

A Victorian silver tea caddy, hallmarked London 1896, maker's mark of WG JL and stamped Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company, 112 Regent St. Repousse decorated with C-scrolls, floral sprays and chinoiserie figures. 13 cm high. CONDITION REPORTS: Generally in good condition, some polishing wear/general wear.
