Two train flat bed turret clock, manufactured by Foster and Co, Mayes St, Manchester, the movement drives to a single face with a countwheel for the hourly strike, the 4" dial signed Foster, Manchester, within a dark green painted cast iron housing fixed to a bespoke made oak trough (with pendulum rod, five weights and three pulleys) ** This clock was fitted to the Compstall Cooperative Society shop premises in Market Street, Marple in Cheshire.
