LIBERTY & CO; a leather cased George V hallmarked silver and pink guilloche enamel decorated travelling clock, the case with allover engraved detail and with Roman numerals to the white enamelled dial, hallmarked for Birmingham 1910, and with French movement, height of clock 8cm.Provenance: private collection north-west.Additional InformationThe silver itself is in good condition. There are a couple of very small areas of restoration to the very edges of the pink enamel. The case has some staining to the silk lining and some scuffs to the outside. the clock ticks when wound and adjusts correctly.

LIBERTY & CO; an Edwardian hallmarked silver and enamel decorated velvet cased travelling clock, with swing loop handle above plain case with unusual blue/green circular dial with the phrase 'Festina Lente' (Make Haste Slowly) used as the hour marker instead of Roman or Arabic numerals, Birmingham 1907, height of clock 8.5cm.Provenance: private collection north-west.Additional InformationThe case back is slightly sprung. there are a few light surface scratches, clear hallmarks. The minute hand is slightly bent forward away from the dial. No restoration or damage to the dial. There is a minute chip to the glass. the clock ticks when wound and adjusts correctly. There is some fraying and deterioration to both the inside and outside of the case.

DAVID VEASEY FOR LIBERTY & CO; a large Tudric pewter 'Tree of Life' enamel decorated mantel clock, circa 1903, no.0150, with Roman numerals to the circular copper set dial and with stylised decoration to the shaped case, the movement by Lenzkirch, stamped to base, height 33.25cm.Provenance: private collection north-west.Additional InformationNo damage or restoration to the enamel, the outer ring has a couple of tiny little losses but this is being ultra critical. There is some dark toning to the pewter. It has the key present to the key slot. the clock adjusts correctly and ticks when wound, general surface wear to the case.

Martin 'Archibald Knox', London 2001, page 239 for similar examples. Additional InformationIt does not have the seconds hand or a key. The pin above the XII is missing, however the enamel is in good condition. the case is also in good condition, just with minor surface rubbing and light surface scratches. the door catch is slightly compressed, the watch ticks when wound.

There are light surface scratches and light wear to the case but free from any damage or restoration.

Light surface scratches only.

There is no restoration or damage to the enamel. Light general surface wear to the case only with a couple of small dent. The clock ticks when wound and the hands adjust correctly.

The hands adjust correctly. Ticks when wound. there are some surface scratches to the case and the lid is slightly compressed with a few tiny dents. This also shows as you look at the left hand side of the clock. General surface wear.

LIBERTY & CO; a pewter and copper mantel clock, no.01154, with Roman numerals to the chapter ring and with leaf decorated rectangular case, stamped to base 'Made in England, English Pewter' and with number, height 18.25cm.Provenance: private collection north-west.This appears to be a plain version of the example often seen with enamel. Additional InformationIt is possible that the centre panel has been enamelled in the past and the bezel cap is rather crude and may have been replaced. Overall the case has quite heavy and numerous surface scratches. it has possibly been refinished at some stage. This is exceptionally noticeable to the base. The hands adjust correctly and the clock ticks when wound.
