Together with a capstan inkwell with tortoise shell hinged lid, no glass liner, hallmark very distorted, possibly Mappin & Webb Birmingham 1938 and a pair of dwarf silver candlesticks, height measuring 4.5 inches (11.5cm) and hallmarked Mappin & Webb Birmingham 1938. A tortoise shell cased key wind clock, the white dial with black Roman numerals, with white metal handle, raised above four bun feet. Height measures 3 inches (8cm). The clock is in overall fairly good condition. There are a number of small scratches and blemishes to the surface of the tortoiseshell, and one or two deeper scuffs, but no serious damage. The feet are slightly rubbed and scratched. There are some small discolourations to the face. The hinges on the handle and on the door at the back of the clock work well. The inside of the clock is dirty but the movement is in good condition and the clock is currently in working order. Fellows and Sons cannot guarantee the accuracy or working order of any clock at the time of sale.
Jaeger 8 day car clock, early side wind model. Aluminum casing with mounting bolt. Silvered dial with black roman numerals, signed Jaeger Paris. Lever set platform escapement, movement no.23378 M. Case diameter 80mm. Clock is in poor condition, and incomplete. Aluminium case has general wear and surface corrosion, with a small hole and dent to the back of the case. Silvered dial is signed 8 Jours, Paris Geneve, Jaeger paris, Fabrique En Suisse, and has scratches, marks and discoloration throughout. The Minute hand is missing, and the hour hand has rusted. The winder is also missing and the glass has small chips to the edge. The platform lever escapement has a broken balance staff. Case diameter 83mm. Clock is not currently working. Fellows & Sons do not guarantee the working order or the accuracy of any watches sold.
