AN EARLY 19th CENTURY OAK LONGCASE CLOCK BY ASHTON, the tea caddy hood with single glazed door and flanking turned pillars housing a 12.25 ins brass and silvered dial with pierced spandrels, set with Roman numerals and date aperture, chain driven thirty hour movement striking on a bell, single shaped long trunk door with flanking quarter cut pillars on a stepped trunk base with bracket feet, 210 cms approximate height, 49 cms wide
Foley Intarsio pottery mantel clock in the form of a longcase clock, decorated in Art Nouveau style, no. 3116. 33.5cm high Condition report A few losses of colouring around the edge of the base, some of which are factory faults that have been glazed over. Tiny firing crack to inside edge of the base. A few very minor and tiny areas where the colouring is lacking but glazed over by the factory. Minor crazing but slightly more noticeable to the face of the maiden. No restoration or cracks. The movement does not appear to be working. Generally in good condition.
A 19th century mahogany framed wall clock by Thomas Cox Savory, 47 Cornhill, London The white painted signed 12 inch dial with Roman numerals and numbered 489, the fusee movement inscribed Presented by Mr. John Ruston, June 1838. CONDITION REPORTS: Generally in good condition, expected wear, could do with a clean, some rubbing/paint loss to dial.
A Meissen type porcelain cased mantle clock The white enamelled dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, the floral encrusted and painted case surmounted with musical putti flanking an urn, the barrel movement numbered 2322 and striking on a bell, blue painted cross swords mark. 46 cm high. CONDITION REPORTS: Generally good condition, expected wear, various slight losses, some discolouration, some slight glaze flaws, some rubbing to painting and gilding.
A 19th century French ormolu mantel clock The urn finial above the white enamelled dial with Roman numerals inscribed D.C. Rait a Paris above a figurally painted Sevres type porcelain panel and three other floral filled porcelain panels. 37 cm high. CONDITION REPORTS: Some wear to ormolu, pendulum lacking, back door and case section loose, some cracks to dial, top finial loose, general wear.
A 19th century mahogany cased eight day fusee wall clock The white painted 12" dial with Arabic numerals, the fusee movement with verge escapement and bob pendulum. CONDITION REPORTS: Generally in good condition, expected wear, movement probably from mantel clock and married to dial, old damage to dial and some overpainting, slight losses to dial, winding key lacking, slight losses to case and possibly old repairs.
A mahogany canteen of nickel cutlery and knives, oak box of EPNS crested spoons, a silver table spoon and two teaspoons, a Smiths of Cricklewood London clock housed in a Taylor Rolph & Co.bowling wood mounted on a plinth, the clock is wound by turning the bezel one way and the other way to change the time.
