Good Large cast iron two train turret clock movement by Thos Cooke (b.1807 d.1868), inscribed on the subsidiary seconds dial 'Erected for J. Sydney Davey, Esq, by Jas. Truscott, Tenby & Gloucester in Tenby Church Tower'; also inscribed with the maker's name 'T Cooke & Sons, York from 1860-1890', the movement striking the hours with single five-legged gravity escapement with remontoire (the remontoire weight arm is missing), also with maintaining power achieved by an epicyclic gear system within the great wheel, with principal 8.25" hour dial, all contained within a heavy cast iron arched case, 31.25" high, upon a base plate 27.5" wide, 20.75" deep
