Davon aufsteigender, kurzer Schaft in Gestalt einer Herme, mit den erhobenen Armen das achtseitige Uhrengehäuse tragend, bekrönt von vollplastischer Herkulesskulptur. Schauseitig floral graviertes Ziffernblatt mit arabischen und römischen Zahlen. Aufwendig durchbrochen gearbeitetes Werk mit Spindelhemmung, Kette und Schnecke, bez. Jans. Rückseitig äußerst fein graviertes Astrolabium. Im Sockel durch kleine Scharniere herausnehmbare Klappsonnenuhr mit scharniertem Polstab, mittig verglaster Kompass. The brass face having gilt ormolu 'C' scroll adorned spandrels, silvered Roman Numeral chapter ring and faceted hand. The arched top set with an engraved heraldry depiction of the sun with faceted hands and winding holes. Complete with painted pendulum, key and weights. Measures approx; 224cm tall.
