AN UNUSUAL 20TH CENTURY BOEHM MAYFLOWER CLOCK, the white metal galleon raised on a marble disc above a drum form clock, engraved with maps, mayflower ship, and mermaid, the seahorse form hand reading against a circular chapter ring, 14.5ins high, stamped K.J. Bradford, Clockmaker, Chelmsford, under a glass dome.
Mid 19th century Paris porcelain mantel clock, the eight day striking movement by Brocot of Paris, the ornate rococo revival style case painted with panels of figures and trophies on an overlaid gilt royal blue ground, surmounted by a figure of a Saracen riding off with a European lady. 70cm high.
A late 18th century mahogany longcase clock, the arched brass dial with silvered chapter ring, with alarm set engraved in reverse to the inner edge, with matted centre and subsidiaries for seconds and for date. The latter with aperture signed Robert Sampson, petty France, Westminster and with subsidiary in the arch for strike/silent. The twin train movement with anchor escapement and with alarm work to the side striking on a bell, the swan neck hood with original flambeau and leaf finials and fretwork sides the trunk showing 'Liverpool' brickwork carved features. 236cm high.
