An early 20th century spelter 'Diana' mystery timepiece, she stands, holding combined movement and pendulum aloft in her right hand, on turned ebonised plinth, the back-wound timepiece having an enamel dial, Arabic chapter, gridiron pendulum, 36cm overall, c. 1920s The patent for this kind of clock was taken out in 1909 by Junghans & Haller, but most timepieces of this type date from ther period following the Great War. Some were also made in the USA by Ansonia and were available post World War II Condition Report: Head of figure broken but not detached at neck.

Condition Report: Case missing an element to the upper part; damage to top of one column with other minor damage to case, dial silvering rubbed off, glass missing.
