Phillipe H Mourey (P.H. Mourey) three piece clock garniture set French, 19th Century, gilt metal clock, the porcelain face, decorated with enamel painted Roman numerals, marked Japy Freres and Co, impressed numbers 11240 200 to the reverse of the movement, the case excluding the base and dome is 41cm high, including the base and dome it measures 53cm high overall, the candlesticks of a similar design with powder blue and floral decorated porcelain panels and decorated with cherubs, 30.5cm high overall (3) Overall wear, marks and scratches as expected. We have not had the clock running since it has been with us, but the vendor recalls it does work. Some areas possibly repainted and has been maintained. We do not think the base/dome is original to the clock. Urn on top of the clock is bent/mis-shapen and leaning. Minor chips to the rim of the dome. Chips to the porcelain on the candlesticks. As this is not currently working we would recommend having it serviced.
Mahogany cased bracket clock and later bracketVictorian, the painted dial with Roman numerals, with repeater pull cord to the right hand side, the movement unmarked to the reverse, the clock case measures 30cm wide x 45cm high x 17cm deep, the dial measures 20cm across, the bracket measures 54cm high overall x 43cm wide overall x 24cm deep (2) The bracket is later than the clock. The case has old repairs, damage and losses. Some splits also. The dial is worn and scratched. The seconds hand appears to have snapped off. The pendulum has snapped but is present. We do not have the key to this clock. The clock has been in long term storage by the vendor and is not currently working properly. The bell does strike when the cord is pulled, the clock does tick for a short time when wound, but the speed is irregular. We would advise having this clock serviced.

A late 19th century, reformed Gothic style, bracket clock, the top in the form of a balustraded fish-scale tiled roof, above a cornice, the frieze below with carved flower heads, over a 5.75" dial, flanked on each side by a split mace and strapwork, the base with applied bosses and nail headings, raised on squashed bun feet, with a matching bracket, with an 8-day movement, striking on two gongs, the back-plate stamped 'D.R. Patent' and 'W & II IN SCH', with pendulum and winder, clock alone 44cm high (4)Ok, apart from minor chips and dents and scratches. Brackett with small slither missing above plate (that attaches it to the wall). This plate now detached.Movement not operational in vendor's home.
A reproduction Benjamin Franklin wall clock by Thwaites & Reed, the 5.5" lacquered brass arched dial with silvered chapter of four-hour configuration with a single hand, a subsidiary seconds dial in the arch, the four-pillar weight driven movement with anchor escapement, set on a mahogany bracket, number 921 from a limited edition of 1000, with certificate, booklet and instructions, 40cm high.Benjamin Franklin's (1706-1790) design of 1757 for a wall timepiece was never realised or manufactured in his lifetime. But from his detailed notes about configuration as well as manufacturing methods and techniques, the maker of the present lot, Thwaites & Reed of London, had everything needed to produce a working example, exactly as it would have been made in the 18th century. The accompanying literature indicates the date of manufacture as 1976 and the edition number 921 of 1000.Good overall with only minor/negligible signs of age and use. Movement runs. With both weights and pendulum.

Generally ok, but 2cm vertical hairline crack from the right winding hole downwards, both sides of clock with many hairline cracks and some discoloration. Top right side return mount detached and edges of rear door chipped.

Glass front broken and missing big section.Jaz - very worn finish and later paint present on back and top and sides. Appears to be working. Case - scuffed and worn and interior lining very worn/frayed.

Cheeks adapted to support seat board. Back of main case possibly replaced. Case showing typical signs of age throughout but structurally sound with good colour and figuring. No evidence of worm. Movement winds, runs and strikes. A few small areas of re-touching to the dial.

Parcel ebonised and mahogany bracket or table clock,18th Century, the break arch brass dial with silvered Roman chapter ring, Arabic five minutes and lozenge half hour markers signed to the lower edge 'Asselin, London', the finely matted centre with false pendulum and date apertures, foliate scroll spandrels and strike/silent ring to the arch. The triple train fusee movement with verge escapement, chiming on six bells and striking on a further bell with acanthus scroll engraved back plate and pull repeat. The parcel ebonised mahogany case with inverted bell top, brass handle, break arch door with later brass frets, glazed side windows, upon brass ball feet, 44.5cm high with handle lowered x 26cm wide x 25.5cm deepOld repairs and alterations including the door escutcheon and brass frets. The case was probably originally ebonised. There is a plugged hole in the case side which may have been another pull repeat for the chime or hours. Wear and marks commensurate with the age and use.

Another plate with a faint X shape hairline visible to the centre of the base.Several plates with light signs of use, in the form of surface scratches.Platters - All three with some staining and crazing, together with some slight fritting and glaze loss around the edges. One platter chipped and cracked at 7 o clock.
