The trunk door appears warp free but there are shrinkage splits in various places with the majority in the top hinge area. The dial appears clean. The clock comes complete with two weights, winding handle key and pendulum and comes from a private client.
An 18th Century Chinese blue and white charger, the centre field decorated with waterside landscape with figures in boats, raised on a circular foot CONDITION REPORTS 54.8 cm diameter There is a crack running the length of the rim near the 6 o' clock position of the plate. Various scratches and scrapes to the body, to the tree, etc. There is either a deep scratch or a firing fault to the foliage. There is a brown mark to the 1 o' clock position of the plate and also to the 2 o' clock position. Various firing faults throughout. The underside appears to be brown stained. General signs of wear and tear throughout. There is a rough section to the rim but this is possibly a firing fault. From a local collector.
A 19th Century rosewood cased mantle clock with single fusee movement, brass face and Roman numerals CONDITION REPORTS Case with overall surface scratching, wear and tear conducive with age. Discolouration, probably due to varnish deterioration, particularly to the right hand side of the door at front and the plinth. One foot appears original, one a modern replacement. Two further at the back missing with extra piece of wood to balance the piece set at the back. Moulding missing to right hand side. Veneers missing to left hand side back of base. Veneers missing to left hand side and top and bottom left of the rear door. Basswork very dirty. Movement appears intact though the key does not move in the keyhole suggesting that it may have been over-wound. Source of problem actually not known. Presumed for this reason, not working, though not known for sure. Appears to be anchor escapement though we have not removed the movement for fear of breaking screws by trying to do so. Pendulum and key extant. 17 cm high x 13.5 cm wide x 10.5 cm deep. See images for further information.

A French brass cased table top display case in the Rococo manner with glazed side panels, a mahogany metronome bearing label for Maelzel to front and stamped to interior "J Wagner a Paris", and a miniature brass cased carriage clock CONDITION REPORTS Table top display case has seurface scratches, some glue like residue etc. to the glass, some signs of oxidisation/patternation to the metal. Back right hand foot is slightly lower and the bottom internal shelf appears to be slightly askew - see images for further explanation. Metronome base is missing, the brass label is samsaged and the metronome itslef does not appear to be in working order although moves backwards and forward. Weight possible replacement. Has surface scratches etc and damage throughout. Brass miniature carriage clock - unknown if in working order, has surface scratches, patination etc. to the metalwork and glass. Appears to be dated underneath 24/3/72 and stamped 21. All items have general wear and tear conducive with age and use - see images for further details.

CONDITION REPORT: The clock has got the finial broken off but present and there is a large crack to lower part of the body running from the dial to the base.Box: Some of the mounts slightly raised from body, some rubbing to gilt finish, some light abrasions to porcelain panels.Mirror: Moves laterally as mounts/supports are loose, missing 5cm of applied metal border to right side (as seen in picture), some mounts are slightly raised from body, gilt rubbed on mounts, abrasion to porcelain panels, two raised sections of wood at back, some near-splits to veneer and general wear to wooden body.
