A mid-18th century mahogany longcase clock by William Gardner, Sandwich, with eight-day movement striking a bell, the 12-inch square brass dial with silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds and calendar dials, applied gilt brass spandrels, the hood with brass ball finial, swan-neck pediment and classical columns, the trunk with figured arched door, on pedestal base
18TH CENTURY STAINED PINE THIRTY HOUR COTTAGE LONG CASE CLOCK marked William Coulton, York, having flat moulded cornice over square aperture flanked by moulded pilasters, tall arch waist door on panel base. Brass face with foliate mask spandrels and silvered chapter ring, Roman numerals and date aperture. Thirty hour movement striking on one bell. The face 10.5" square, overall 84" high approx. CONDITION REPORT: The face overall grubby and a little dry. Includes weight and pendulum head but no pendulum shaft.
LATE 19TH CENTURY FRENCH BRASS CARRIAGE CLOCK having full depth enamel face with overlaid tracery within a serpentine gorge case with folding handle. 12.5cm high, together with original fitted leather covered travelling case and key. CONDITION REPORT: Original gilding overall worn away to brass otherwise in good condition, ticks and winds, outer leather case has usual scuffs and marks commensurate with use.
EARLY 20TH CENTURY ELECTRIC CLOCK by the Eureka Clock Company of London, having gilded metal base with Military presentation plaque dated 1911, the clock overall gilded metal bearing patent no.: 14614, dated 1906 and having enamelled face with Arabic numerals and glass dome. The clock 32cm high plus glass dome. CONDITION REPORT: Overall general surface wear but appearing complete. Original battery source has been replaced with low wattage plug in transformer. The dome doesn't appear to fit perfectly and therefore may not be original.
LATE 19TH CENTURY EGYPTIAN STYLE BLACK SLATE AND MARBLE ARCHITECTURAL CLOCK GARNITURE, the clock with applied gilt metal Sphynx and scrolled pediment, gilded face with Roman numerals, on a platform base. Two train, French brass drum movement strikes on one bell. Together with two urn shaped, metal mounted supporters with gilt metal sarcophagus mounts on platform bases. Clock is 45cm approx. (3) * CONDITION REPORT: Rather dusty and grubby, no obvious damage noted, request detailed condition report.
