A late 19th century French black slate mantel clock of fluted drum head form, with applied brass trim decoration, supported on cast brass feet, 5" white enamel dial with Roman numerals, 8-day bell striking round-plate movement, unsigned, with matched French moon hands, 34 cm (h).Condition report: No key or pendulum, several cracks to the dial, a few surface scratches to the glass. Chipping to the case in places, largest approximately 20 mm x 8 mm, surface dirt / marks in areas and one brass mount is loose.
