In generally good condition. Not working.

The back of the frame with maker's mark JG (Chester 1928) and 1931 engraved inscription. (9 cm high). * Please note: The movement in this clock is not original - it has been replaced with a modern German quartz movement. * Condition: Modern replaced quartz movement which requires a new battery. Hands later replacements. Dial original and good overall. Silver frame good with clear marks.

A large 19th century walnut-cased continental Vienna regulator-style wall-hanging clock: the foliate carved and pierced pediment above a 7-inch white dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds hand below the 12 o'clock position; single weight; original pendulum and key. (Total height including pediment 114 cm x 38 cm to widest point)* Condition: The cord is currently not correctly attached - this will need to be attached correctly before the weight can be hung and the clock set up. Clock appears to wind OK. Old shrinkage cracks to top and bottom of the door, and a few old glued repairs to the cresting at top of case. The dial has 6 or 7 hairlines in various places and there are a few small dings to the brass face on the pendulum.
