London & North Eastern Railway 5.5inch Mahogany cased Fusee Bracket clock supplied to the LNER circa 1930. The English chain driven fusee movement has rectangular screwed plates and is stamped Coventry Astral. The convex silvered dial has wax filled numerals and LNER 1385. The mahogany case has boxwood stringing to the bottom a convex glass and brass bun feet. The L.N.E.R. clock records show that this clock was used at Liverpool Street Registrar Surveyors Office, Hamilton House. A nice and unusual Railway timepiece, complete with pendulum and keys and in working condition has just been oiled and the suspension spring replaced but not checked for accuracy. Measures 12in x 9.5in x 6in deep.

Cheshire Lines Committee 12in dial oak cased railway clock with a spun brass bezel and a going barrel movement with A shaped screwed plates stamped W&H SCH which stands for Winterhalder & Hofmeier of Schwarzenbach Germany. The original dial is lettered G.ECCLES & SON LIVERPOOL C.L.C. 277 and the case has one side door and a bottom door secured with a brass turn. In working order but not checked for accuracy complete with pendulum and key. Circa 1900.
Manchester Sheffield and Lincolnshire mahogany cased 12 inch fusee railway clock with a large A frame chain driven English fusee movement in cleaned condition and stamped ex YRK 3 times. The restored dial lettered W. McFerran M.S.& L Victoria St Manchester, the rear reverse of the dial is painted BR(E) 9014 23/12/60 indicating the dial was rewritten with a British Railways dial repaint at Doncaster then. the Mahogany case has the original side flap door, bottom door secured with a ring pull catch and spun brass bezel. The LNER clock records show this clock as last in use at Sheffield Victoria Foremans Carriage Claims Office and was sent to Rail Curios York in December 1982. In working order but not checked for accuracy complete with pendulum and key. Circa 1870.
