There is a crease along the upper left corner. Some light handling marks along the edges. Light wear to the deckled edges. There is a pencil number 38 along the upper right corner. There is a small pencil arrow pointing to Corot's signature. Not framed.
A pair of late 19th/early 20th century diamond brooches, designed as an openwork heart and an arrow, each accented with rose and lasque-cut diamonds, gold and silver mounted, cased by Carrington & Co., lengths 1.25cm and 1.65cmDiamonds have a typically greyish, fractured appearance giving a subtle liveliness. The mounts have surface wear with considerable dark tarnishing. Both pins are currently functioning. Metal standards are untested. Gross weights approximately: heart 1gm, arrow 0.8gm.
