Revolver: A very scarce No 4 Pattern Webley Pryse, .450, hinge frame service revolver c1876, heavy octagonal barrel with raised top rib. Unflinted cylinder. Large chequered one piece walnut grips. Twin Pryse patent barrel levers. Webley patent arrow to barrel and cylinder retaining screw. The Pryse along with the Adams were the standard handguns of the Zulu Wars. The Pryse in service from 1876 to 1886. A large and impressive 'man stopper' revolver from the Victorian campaigns of the 1870s & 80s. Good working order, shows normal service wear. Deactivated with certificate. No licence required.

A George III Silver Brandy Pan and Cover, John Emes, London 1807, the cylindrical body with a turned wooden handle, pull-off domed cover with turned wooden finial and hinged spout cover, engraved with two crests, being a boar proper, quartered and pierced by an arrow and an arm in armour embowed holding a dagger, 23cm long, 9oz 2dwt Handle split in several places and loose. Minor bruises but no major faults. Clear marks to base. Inner rim of cover bruised and miss shapen in many places.
A collection of 18th century and later English pottery and porcelain including a large coffee pot decorated in the famille rose palette (heavily restored), a Davenport vase and cover, Turner teapot, Masons jug and other items - Part of a Private owner collection CONDITION REPORT: Picture One - Large mug broken and re-glued and unmarked. Small mug broken and re-glued with section missing from rim and unmarked. Stand with very small chip to centre and foot and numbered 1600 in red with the letter 'S'. Teapot with tiny chip to the inside of the spout. Hairline crack to the handle. Impressed mark Turner (NOT Wedgwood as previously catalogued!), lid lacking. Vase extremely broken and re-glued and restored, numbered 213 in red. Small two-handled bowl with lid lacking, small amount of wear to the gilding, unmarked. Sugar bowl and lid with Wedgwood 'Directoire' printed mark and USA patent no. with small amount of wer to the brown painted line on one of the handles. Bowl with Rococo scroll border with lid lacking, numbered 2/365 in pink. Picture Two - Pedestal Bowl with restoration to the rim and cracks and chips and central vignette panel worn. Davenport lidded vase, the lid broken into two parts and re-glued with chips to the inside rim. Hairline crack to the vase. General wear to gilding on the rim. Purple factory transfer mark to base. Sugar box and lid, the lid chipped below the finial and chips to interior of rim. Bowl and lid numbered 418 in puce. Yellow teapot with a chipped spout, rim broken and re-glued, small chips to black rim and lid finial chipped, unmarked. Pot with lid lacking and small amount of wear to the gilding. Picture Three - Coffee pot extensively broken and restored (porcelain and not Leeds as originally thought). Larger jug with firing crack to rim near the handle. Small amount of wear to the gilding and small illegible impressed mark to base. Circular lidded cream bowl, the bowl extensively restored and unmarked. Oval sugar box with chip to rim of lid, small amount of wear to the gilding on both pieces, the base with small bubble firing fault to the body beneath the handle and mottled brown marks to underside of foot. Both pieces stamped Wedgwood in red and numbered 492 with an arrow in red. Masons Ironstone Jug with general wear, small chip to rim and foot. section lacking from bottom of handle with black transfer factory mark. Picture Four - Bowl with large broken and poorly restored area and hairline cracks, marked SPODE in red. Coalport tray and ring stand with general wear to the raised areas on tray in particular the gilding and worn areas of gilding on ring stand, with black printed factory mark. Large plate with indistinct impressed marks and decoration worn in places. Imari plate with Masons Ironstone China impressed mark to base, rim chipped and the two parts present but loose. WIth metal wire wall mounting. Wedgwood leaf dish with hairline crack running in from the rim, staining to the underside of the plate with impressed factory mark and other impressed letters.
Militaria: 1) a nice 19th/20th century Bosun's whistle with WD Arrow stamp (WW1 period), 2) An interesting plated small spoon with soldier motif & 'Gentlemen in Kharki' logo (Boer War), 3) A period white metal badge on brooch mount. 'Transvaal War Souvenir' 1899-1900. Soldier with crossed flags. (3)
A paste and white metal necklace and earring set The necklace with clear paste barrel shaped drop with black banding to the arrow shaped inter spacers with further barrel shaped paste links and fine link chain, with drop earrings to match, necklace approximately 50cm long, earrings 5cm including fitting. INDIAN COINS, GUPTA, Chandragupta II (c.380-414 AD), Gold Dinar, archer type, Chandra below arm of king standing left, holding bow and arrow, garuda standard in field, rev Sri Vikramah, goddess seated on lotus facing holding long-stemmed lotus and riband, 7.66g (BMC type B, 13ff; Mitch ACW 4796ff). Very fine.

COMMEMORATIVE MEDALS, Medals by Subject, Art, France, “Nike”, The Goddess of Victory, Large Bronze Medal, undated (1924), by Paul Marcel Dammann (1885-1939), head of the Godess right, laureate and with wing, NI – KE, small olive sprig below, rev naked Greek athlete stands at Olympia holding statuette of Victory, 100.5mm, impressed “189” on edge. Good very fine, a wonderful and rare Art Deco medal. The medal was to be adapted for the Paris Olympic Games with the addition of a rugby ball, javelin, bow and arrow, club and discus.
Six Pre WW1 Military Issue Whistles, all being Metropolitan pattern examples. Five are made by J Hudson & Co and the other is made by A DeCourcy & Co. All with war department broad arrow markings. Dated 1904, 1905, 1911, 1912 and two are 1913. All remain in generally good condition. (6 items)

WW2 British Made American Airborne Jump Wings one being fitted with star and arrow head, the other just has a single star. Both have the original pin and hook fixings on the reverse. One is marked Silver on the reverse and the other has a Birmingham maker and Sterling Silver (maker not clear). Hallmarked Silver Motor Volunteer Corps Badge, with two hallmarked silver lugs on the reverse. Badge is hallmarked for Birmingham 1904. Remains in very good condition. Complete with brass collar badge showing an arrow through scroll with SUBITO. Both badges remain in good condition. (2 items)
