The bright steel lock is marked Tower with crown over WR, the weapon cocks, holds and fires. The woodwork whilst being cleaned back shows very few knocks or any sign of previous damage or repair, likewise the brass work is in good condition, the stirrup ramrod functions correctly. Overall a nice example.The hammer functions correctly, cocks, holds and fires. The hammer is tight on the spindle, no perceivable sideways movement, cocked or uncocked. The safety bolt functions correctly. The swivel on the ramrod functions correctly and travels the full distance of the barrel.
