3rd-6th century AD. A group of four agate stamp seals comprising of: one large with a horse, one large with a scene of lion hunting a bull, one with a winged standing figure holding an arrow(?), one with a dancing pair of mythological figures with human heads and globular bodies. 67 grams total, 20-31mm (3/4 - 1 1/4"). From an important private London, SW1 jewellery collection collection; acquired in the 1990s [4 No Reserve] Fine condition.
1st millennium BC. A gold lozenge-shaped gold foil embossed with a border of dots with roundels between; in the centre a band of chevrons with five arrow shapes in a row. 1.99 grams, 90mm (3 1/2"). From the collection of a North West London gentleman; acquired in the 1980s. Fair condition, fragmentary.

A bronze elliptical mount with ropework border, high-relief figure of Cupid standing nude, head facing, right arm extending across the body to draw an arrow, sash trailing to the rear. 58 grams, 52mm (2"). A Victorian mahogany cased deck barometer, by Dent of London. Diameter 12 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The mercury is in the thermometer and there do not appear to be any air gaps. All brasswork is present including the lock hinges and securing mechanism. We have the key. The case is in generally good order but does have a break above the bottom hinge which should be clearly visible in our images. The case is not warped and shuts as it should. The lock operates. We have blown into the back of the barometer and the needle does move. The silvered dial is generally perished and dirty. The glass is in good order. The set arrow is a little loose in the centre mount.

TWO CIRCA 1900 NAVAL OFFICER'S DRESS SWORDS, London and Liverpool makers, the Langdon & Sons, Liverpool example with gilt brass hilt and lion's head pommel, wire bound shagreen grip and bullion knot, the guard with crowned fouled anchor and RNR and folding scabbard lock, 79 cms near straight blade, maker's mark and decoration with repeated RNR and fouled anchor (worn and very pitted) in a non-matching leather scabbard with brass mounts marked 'Pritchett, London', the other with wire bound fish skin grip, folding scabbard lock and bullion knot, the guard with fouled crowned anchor, the blade marked 'Kenny, Little Britain, London' and etched decoration to blade, 78.5 cms near straight blade with arrow top marking in a leather scabbard with brass mounts (Provenance: formerly the property of Captain Thomas Pritchard with a copy photograph of the same seated with one of the swords in hand along with a printed copy of his memoirs from 1893 at the age of fifteen until his death in 1944 whilst interned in Stanley Camp during the Second World War)
A side drum to the Royal Welch Fusiliers, by Henry Potter, with battle honours ending Gaza and Baghdad, reskinned and restrung crudely, together with a Hawkes & Son 1915 dated bugle, with arrow stamp, another by Keat & Sons dated 1903, another by Boosey, a further copy bugle, and a copper flask.
