A military pocket watch, signed Jaeger LeCoultre, circa 1948, lever movement signed, dial with Arabic numerals, snap-on back with military marks 6E/50 A 21023 and a broad arrow mark, inside back cover numbered 249466, 50mm wide 13.04.17, The nickel plating is rubbed in parts, surface scratches, plexi glass with scratches, hands with luminous missing, hand setting correctly, mainspring appears to be broken and is slipping when winding the watch, movement not working.
A diamond and pearl luckenbooth brooch, a coronet topped heart set throughout with old cut diamonds in white rubbed over settings, with a central pearl, to an old cut diamond set arrow bar, total estimated diamond weight 1.20 carat approximately, length 5cm The brooch is in good condition. It is not hallmarked or stamped but in our opinion would test as white fronted gold. It fastens with a pin and safety catch, it has a loop for suspending a drop. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour H/I/J, clarity SI1/SI2. Gross weight 5.8 grams. Condition Report made 20th March 2017.

A FINE TWO-DAY MARINE CHRONOMETER BY ARNOLD & DENT, CIRCA 1829, The 3½in. silvered dial signed as per title and inscribed and numbered 84 Strand, London, No.1012, blued steel hands, seconds dial with Government broad arrow device, fusee movement with Earnshaw escapement, silvered helical balance spring to bi-metallic compensation balance with peripheral temperature and meantime adjustment screws, the plain plates engraved with broad arrow device, contained within gimbal-mounted bowl with domed glass cover within three-tier box of issue with ivorine roundel countersigned and numbered to front, and full trade label in lid for 'Edward I. Dent' annotated with repairer's notes from 1851 and 1966, and brass drop handles - 6in. (15cm.) cubed Literature: Mercer, V: John Arnold & Sons, A.H.S. London, 1972, p.271, This instrument is recorded as being purchased in 1836 and was used from Plymouth between 1842 and 1855. Between 1855 and 1928 it was located at the Deal Time Ball Tower in Kent. Overlooking the South Downs, this Time Ball set the chronometers for thousands of ships waiting for the winds and tide.

1885 Pattern Cavalry Trooper’s Sword, regulation blade extensively marked including issue stamps for 1886 and 1889, inspectors’ stamps, WD broad arrow, D.L., YC, regulation hilt with 11H erased, and 7.89 Y O. X 229 (Oxfordshire Yeomanry Cavalry) and the identical markings repeated on the scabbard plus MOLE PATENT. Blade 34.5”. Good condition.
19th Century Indian Army Cavalry Trooper’s Sword, broad curved single edge blade cut with broad fuller, etched in a panel ROBt MOLE & SONS MKAERS Birmingham, stamped MOLE BIRMn, ISD beneath broad arrow, back edge stamped I beneath broad arrow, R and a star, triple bar iron guard stamped above the quillon with unit marking 3E 7.00, back of pommel stamped IML 18, fish skin covered grip bound with nickel wire. Blade 79cms. Good untouched condition, 1 edge nick to blade.
Scarce Post 1901 Household Cavalry Trooper’s Sword, slightly curved single edge blade cut with a deep single fuller and stamped with manufacturer’s small initials WSC and number A0096, regulation pattern hilt with crowned HC amidst pierced scrolls, buckskin liner and dress knot, wire bound fish skin covered grip, in its plated scabbard stamped WS, broad arrow, 99, 973 6864 beneath throat, buckskin sword slings, fabric belt. Blade 34.5”. Good condition, well refinished overall for parade ground use.
Elizabeth II 1827 Pattern Royal Navy Officers Dress Sword by Wilkinson, brass dish guard having fouled anchor with EIIR crown above. Fishskin grip retaining the original grip wire. Lion head top pommel incorporating the back strap. Blade with crowned cipher and foliage etching. Wilkinson Sword trade mark to the forte and spine numbered 110206 and with broad arrow stamp. Some surface staining and pitting to the blade. Housed in brown leather scabbard with brass bottom chape. Leather tabs missing from scabbard but the back section remains and has the elasticated cloth strap.
WW2 Fairbairn Sykes B2 2nd Pattern Commando Knife, good example with chequered one piece brass grip, oval cross guard stamped with B2 and broad arrow mark, stiletto type double edged blade measuring 16cms in length. Much of the original blueing remains to the blade. Housed in its original brown leather scabbard with blackened brass lower chape. Scabbard retains the original leather tabs and back section with brown cloth strap. Good example overall.
WW2 Fairbairn Sykes B2 2nd Pattern Commando Knife, one piece chequered brass grip with steel top nut fitting, oval guard stamped B2 with broad arrow to one side and the other side being stamped ENGLAND. Stiletto type double edged blade measuring 16cms in length. Much of the blueing remains to the blade. No scabbard.
3rd Pattern Fairbairn Sykes Commando Knife, good example with one piece blackened ribbed handle, oval cross guard stamped with broad arrow mark and A3, stiletto type double edged blade measuring 16 ¾cms in length. Blade retains much of the original blueing. Housed in its brown leather scabbard with blackened brass bottom chape. Leather tabs remain to the scabbard as does the original backing section. Elasticated securing strap is missing from the scabbard. Good example overall.

Some surface staining and small chip to the edge of the blade. Housed in original brown leather scabbard with brass bottom chape. Leather tabs have been removed from the scabbard but the back section remains. Replacement cloth fastening strap.
