Very similar in form to RLM marked watches of other brands. Black dial in excellent condition, almost flawless, most luminous material on dial appears original, 3, 9 and 12 numerals, plus some hour markers appear retouched, hands likely refinished. Unsigned Urofa 581 movement, shock protected balance, very clean, running condition. Dust cover present. GC

"HMS Scott"  J79 was a Halycion Class Minesweeper and served throughout WW2 and beyond and was scrapped in 1965. Height 12.5 inches. Width 12.5 inches.

Reverse of case is marked "WWW" along with "P 9716" and "14716". Leather strap. Runs and ticks, would recommend a service. This brand of watch forms part of the so called "Dirty Dozen" of 12 different Swiss manufactures who supplied watches to the British Army which were delivered in 1945.

Pin with a slight bend, but is working well. Two indistinct French eagles head marks to each end of setting.
