Measures 28" x 13" with narrow flange. Good overall condition, some fading but still has reasonable shine. Some minor chipping around the periphery.

About extremely fine.
INDIAN COINS, Ancient Coinage, Magadha Janapada (c.500-400 BC), Silver Karshapana (2), 3.43g and 3.38g, Series I, five major marks with the sun impressed three times in error, bankers marks: bow and arrow, large sun and turtle (Rajgor series 12; GH Series I, 86). Highly unusual error, extremely fine, extremely rare. (2)

About very fine, a rare variety.

Ekrhardt LONDON and frosted gilt movement with split bi-metallic balance and stamped D154455 with the MOD arrow device to backplate, the nickel case with screw-down back similarly stamped, (2).

PURDEY & SONS 12-BORE SELF-OPENING SIDELOCK EJECTOR, serial no. 18852 with two sets of barrels, 'No.1' 28in. nitro chopperlump barrels with matt Churchill-rib (left bore dimension marginal), 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and imp cyl choke; extra 28in. nitro chopperlump barrels with matt Churchill-rib, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 1/2 choke, removable striker discs, arrow cocking-indicators, best bouquet and scroll engraving, retaining traces of original colour-hardening, 14 3/4in. well-figured stock, weight 6lb. 10oz. (No.1) and 6lb. 12oz. (extra), in a leather case with provision for both sets of barrels. The makers have kindly confirmed that the gun was completed as one of a pair in July 1907 and was subsequently rebarrelled by them in 1962 with 28in. barrels with Churchill rib
