A Royal Crown Derby two-handled vase and cover circa 1897 by Desire Leroy, signed, of flattened campana form, painted with a colourful bird standing on grass within a landscape, to the reverse bagpipes crossed by a quiver and arrow with flowers, each within elaborate tooled and raised gilt scroll reserves and turquoise blue borders against a cobalt-blue ground, the foot with gilt leaf moulding and enamelled turquoise panels with gilt motifs, a scalloped turquoise collar to the neck, flanked by gilt acanthus leaf handles, the cover with leaf-moulded knop red-printed factory mark and date cypher with TIFFANY & Co. Feint yakiba, tape bound same tsuka, some silver decoration to fuchi kashira, thin iron tsuba with stencil style arrow pattern. menuki of 2 puppies and reverse side a mon overlaid on elongated diamond frame. A PAIR OF 20TH-CENTURY GILT BRASS ELECTRIC TABLE LAMPS of two-branch candelabra form, in the Louis XV style, each having a tinned shade of broadening oval section, applied with a cast ribbon, the stem having a leaf finial and truncated arrow ornament above waisted square section column flanked by scroll branches with leaf-cast drip trays and pendent glass lustre drops, on a domed beaded oblong base with spreading feet, 45cm, (17.7in) high (electrified)
A Pullman coach brass table lamp, the domed circular base stamped "PHOENIX". Complete with an original celluloid shade lettered "Pullman Car Company" and in full working order. "Phoenix" is a parlour car built at Preston Park Brighton in 1952. The interior decoration was specially commissioned from Mary Adshead; it depicted the Seasons and transport themes - all in collage work, of stamps, used bank notes and bonds. Apparently a favourite car of the Royal family, it was used for state arrivals and in the consist of the "Golden Arrow". It was withdrawn from service in September 1972 and is now in the VSOE train. This style of lamp, the rarest of all the Pullman lamp styles, was unique to "Phoenix" and is most redolent of the early 1950's.
A BR(S) dark green enamel DIRECTION SIGN "HERNE HILL STATION"/"NORTH DULWICH STATION" (with the "British Railways" totem at the top and bi-directional feathered arrow at the bottom). Flanged, 28"x13", in excellent condition with only a couple of minor repaired edge chips. Herne Hill station was opened by the LC&DR in 1862; North Dulwich by the LBSCR in 1868. Southern Region direction signs are rare.
A BR(W) black on white enamel DIRECTION SIGN "SNOW HILL STATION" with the British Railways totem sign and a feathered arrow. Flanged, 28"x13", with a face-chip and some edge-chipping. An exceedingly rare sign, believed to be of a colour style unique to this station. Birmingham Snow Hill station was opened by the Birmingham and Oxford Junction Railway as "Birmingham" in 1852; was renamed "Birmingham Snow Hill" in 1858, and closed in 1972 only to be re-opened in 1987.
A BR(W) enamel chocolate and cream DIRECTION SIGN "PENCARREG STATION". (with 'British Railways' totem logo at the top, and feathered arrow). Flanged, 28"x13". Five repaired face-chips to look good. From the ex GWR station, between Lampeter and Llanbyther on the Aberystwyth to Carmarthen line. Pencarreg Halt opened in 1930 and closed in 1965.

A BR(Sc) light blue enamel DIRECTION SIGN "NORTH QUEENSFERRY STATION" with its "British Railways" totem device and feathered directional arrow. Single-sided, flanged, 28"x13", somewhat lacking shine but only a few very minor edge chips. North Queensferry, ex NBR station, is located at the north end of the Forth Bridge. It opened in 1890.
A Southern Railway large enamel sign lettered white on dark green "To The Trains LORD WARDEN HOTEL & TOWN" (with arrow). Flangeless, 72"x24", minor edge restoration only. The Lord Warden Hotel was opened by the South Eastern Railway at Dover in 1853, was closed by the Southern Railway in 1939 and converted into offices.
A LNER enamel Station Direction Sign lettered on both sides, white on blue, "LNER Station. LUNDIN LINKS" with feathered directional arrow. Flangeless, 243/4"x91/2", a little edge-chipping. From the ex NBR Fife Coast station, on the Thornton Junction to St. Andrews route, opened in 1857 and closed in 1965.
