A Pullman coach brass table lamp, the domed circular base stamped "PHOENIX". Complete with an original celluloid shade lettered "Pullman Car Company" and in full working order. "Phoenix" is a parlour car built at Preston Park Brighton in 1952. The interior decoration was specially commissioned from Mary Adshead; it depicted the Seasons and transport themes - all in collage work, of stamps, used bank notes and bonds. Apparently a favourite car of the Royal family, it was used for state arrivals and in the consist of the "Golden Arrow". It was withdrawn from service in September 1972 and is now in the VSOE train. This style of lamp, the rarest of all the Pullman lamp styles, was unique to "Phoenix" and is most redolent of the early 1950's.

A BR(S) dark green enamel DIRECTION SIGN "HERNE HILL STATION"/"NORTH DULWICH STATION" (with the "British Railways" totem at the top and bi-directional feathered arrow at the bottom). Flanged, 28"x13", in excellent condition with only a couple of minor repaired edge chips. Herne Hill station was opened by the LC&DR in 1862; North Dulwich by the LBSCR in 1868. Southern Region direction signs are rare.

A BR(W) black on white enamel DIRECTION SIGN "SNOW HILL STATION" with the British Railways totem sign and a feathered arrow. Flanged, 28"x13", with a face-chip and some edge-chipping. An exceedingly rare sign, believed to be of a colour style unique to this station. Birmingham Snow Hill station was opened by the Birmingham and Oxford Junction Railway as "Birmingham" in 1852; was renamed "Birmingham Snow Hill" in 1858, and closed in 1972 only to be re-opened in 1987.

Single-sided, flanged, 28"x13", somewhat lacking shine but only a few very minor edge chips. North Queensferry, ex NBR station, is located at the north end of the Forth Bridge. It opened in 1890.

The Lord Warden Hotel was opened by the South Eastern Railway at Dover in 1853, was closed by the Southern Railway in 1939 and converted into offices.
