WW2 2nd pattern Fairbairn-Sykes ‘B’ Parkerised Commando fighting knife.A good and scarce example. The hilt with Parkerised finished to the chequered grip. The crossguard appears to have a faint stamped WD arrow with B to the side. Double edged spear point blade. Housed in brown leather scabbard with Parkerised square chape and complete with four leather tangs. The hilt with Parkerised finished to the ribbed grip and to the oval cross guard with a WD arrow and “I” above stamp. The pommel is embossed with a “2” and the double edged blade with spear point, Housed in dark brown leather scabbard with Parkerised square chape and with leather tangs. WW2 1944 1st Special Air Service SAS attributed sand beret.A very rare example of the sand coloured beret made by British Beret Basque Ltd, also stamped with date 1944 and a WD Arrow. Retaining cloth embroidered SAS badge. The beret is constructed with leather sweatband, backing to the lining of the air vent holes and for a slider cap badge. The beret now with some age wear with cracking to sweatband slight wear to lining. Retains a good shape. Part of the Fred Casey SAS Archive

The lower grip band is stamped with a WD arrow and possibly a ‘1’ or ‘7’. Double edged spear point blade, with straight oval cross guard. Leicestershire Yeomanry Cavalry Edwardian Officer’s silver mounted pouch and belt.A good example by BWL, the silver flap and belt loops hallmarked London 1910. Flap edged with engraved floral decoration, the centre mounted with gilt metal crowned ‘LYC’ cypher resting on a tri-part scroll inscribed “PRINCE ALBERT’S OWN”. Black grained metal lined leather pouch, the top with bullion decoration, foliated ends and complete with silver belt loops. Belt of regimental silver lace lined with crimson Morocco bearing ensuite hallmarks silver fine lobed boss, chains, arrow prickers and guard with buckle tip and slide. Sight service wear, lace with stitching faults, overall VGC.

London Transport bus stop enamel Q-PLATE 'Queue this side 3, 159 [2-way arrow] 109, 172'. One of a small number of plates that were made to this design. In theory, the two-way arrow was intended to get waiting passengers to form two separate queues on the same side of the stop! The plate would have been located in Kennington. A few small blemishes but generally in very good, ex-use condition. [1]
1946 Southern Railway quad-royal POSTER 'TS Invicta leaving Dover in the "Golden Arrow" short sea route' by Norman Wilkinson (1878-1971). The 'Invicta was built in 1940 and saw war service as HMS Invicta. Finally returning to the cross-channel routes in 1946, she served until 1972. A short inward tear and minor edge scuffs in places but generally in very good condition. Traces of previous folding. A rarely-seen poster. [1]
1960s London Transport enamel BUS & RED ARROW STOP FLAG, for standard bus services and Red Arrows on a combined basis. Until around 1972, the limited-stop Red Arrow services used a separate design with a black background. A double-sided, hollow, 'boat'-style flag measuring 18" x 21" (46cm x 53cm) with space for 3 e-plates on each side. As was often the case with these flags, LT removed the e-plate runners before disposal. In very good, ex-use condition with just very minor blemishes. [1]

1st century BC-2nd century AD. A discoid bronze seal with facing portrait of a figure with tall headdress, cloak tied to the chest, both arms raised holding objects, enclosed within a plain border; strap handle to the reverse, accompanied by typed and signed note by the late W.G. Lambert, Professor of Assyriology at the University of Birmingham, 1970-1993, which states: 'Bronze Disc with Loop on Back, 56 x 56.5 x 12mm. The face of this disc has a figure depicted on it in low relief within an outer band. It shows a figure from the waist up with headdress marked by a spike at the front. In one hand he holds an arrow or other such item, and the other hand is gripping a different item. The body is marked by curving side strokes and a circle and short cross strokes within the side strokes. This comes from west central Asia and dates to c. 100 B.C-200 A.D. It is a rare item and in fair condition.' 47 grams, 56mm (2 1/4"). The Signo collection, the property of a West London businessman, formed in the late 1980s-early 1990s; collection number U-680, academically researched and catalogued by the late Professor Lambert in the early 1990s. Fine condition.
