Major H. O. D. Segrave Golden Arrow and Miss England. A ribbon-tied programme, menu and guest list for the luncheon given by Sir Charles Wakefield on 11 March 1929 in honour of Major Segrave and to celebrate his World Land Speed and Motor Boat Championship. A 16pp booklet with the usually missing Wakefield Trophy overview and rules single-sided sheet. Condition is fair, but the cover edge has paper loss, and some staining. Also, a programme for the Roots Ltd exhibition of the Golden Arrow and Miss England at Devonshire House, with a double-page colour depiction by Bryan de Grineau of the car and a single-page picture of Miss England. 7pp and decorated cream cover. Together with a similar but rare hardbound promotion album titled 'Progress' with detailed text, well-defined images, colour decoration and photographs. The leather spine a little damaged, and corners bumped, otherwise a delight. Also, a folded brochure outlining John Cobb's 403mph Railton and a 1938 promotion called Speed Kings with Euston and Cobb imaged. (5)

An Edwardian 1903 pattern British Army T. Cooke & Sons Ltd made military ' Clinometer Lance No.1 Mk1 ' instrument. Brass construction, with original spirit level. War Department broad arrow to top. Housed within its original leather case, with strap stamped ' Case - Large Clinometer Mark I - Jabez Cliff & Co, 1918 '. Maker's marks to top. Instrument measures approx; 17cm long. Such instruments continued to be used in the First World War.

It is a hand colored plotter drawing created by Christian Cavadia and Jean-Pierre Lihou at the ARTA-Centre Georges Pompidou using Tetronix 4052 and ARTA Interactive software. Jean-Pierre Hebert (1939 – March 28, 2021) was an American artist of French origin. He specialized in algorithmic art, drawings, and mixed media. He co-founded the Algorists in 1995 with Roman Verostko. From 2003 until his death, he held an artist-in-residence position at the Kavli Institute for Theoretical Physics (KITP) at the University of California, Santa Barbara. The MoD ordered custom-built wristwatches from 12 Swiss watchmakers: Buren, Cyma, Eterna, Grana, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Lemania, Longines, IWC, Omega, Record, Timor and Vertex. Each company was given the specific brief of providing watches that were accurate, reliable and durable, with a black dial, Arabic numerals, luminous markers, a railroad minute track, shatterproof glass and a stainless-steel case. No matter the maker, these watches can be identified by the engraved 'W.W.W.' on the reverse, as well as the broad arrowhead mark on the dial, inner case, and reverse, and both military and civil serial numbers on the reverse.Condition report: Case with surface scratches and small dents to edges in parts, back cover with opening tool scratches, plexi glass with scratches and small crazing marks to the edges, later strap, original dial finish with good patina colour to the luminous hour markers, minute hand with some luminous missing, hand setting correctly and winding smoothly, movement in going order.

BR(NE) FF enamel direction sign HEADINGLEY STATION with British Railways totem and left facing arrow, from the former North Eastern Railway station between Leeds and Harrogate. In very good condition with a few well executed chip repairs and slight loss of shine. Measures 28in x 13in. A must for all Yorkshire & England Cricket lovers.
dating: 1874 provenance: USA, Round, 6-1/2', 44 Russian cal. barrel, with one-piece foresight and rib. On the back the company markings with patents up to 1875 and the rare inscription 'REISSUE JULY 25.1871'. Grooved, six-shot cylinder. Working mechanics. Inside the barrel visible groove and pitting areas. A little play of the barrel. Trigger guard with finger support. Ivory grips. Ring for the strap. Grip dated '1874' and with four-digit serial number '65xx', the same serial number can be found on the barrel, on the latch and on the cylinder. Arrow engravings on the receiver. Possible traces of a mark on the bottom of the grip. A total of 9000 examples were produced with the inscription 'REISSUE', numbered separately from 1 to 9000. This special series included both Second Model Russians and Third Model Russians, made mainly for Turkish and Japanese contracts and for civilian markets. This could be a very rare Japanese Third Model (1000 produced in all) for the civilian market, given the lack of military marks and the 44 Russian cal. which was not used in Turkey.
