Along with a related ' Soldier's Pocket Companion ' book, Published 1916 and named to an A. Wade. The book features various references to knot tying, how to operate a wireless and other such useful warfare tasks. Fascinating reading.

Appears in working order, complete with both of its red / green lenses. Within its original fitted leather case, which has been punched with the name ' R. Stafford ' and dated 1915. Rare field instrument.

(Réglage Spécial) movement no:12.905.401, 37mm diameter on a brown leather NATO strap with brass fittings, together with Omega Extract of Archives confirming details and production date for February 9th 1953 Condition: Movement currently functions. Understood to have been serviced recently by a local watchmaker. Dial, hands and crown appear to be original. Some minor chips and wear to edge of the dial, unpolished case as expected due to normal usage. **General condition consistent with age.
