9th-10th century AD. A bronze cross pendant with helmetted male face to the centre, expanding arms, each finished with an arrow-head terminal, a pellet to the centre; attachment loop above. 3.75 grams, 36mm (1 1/4"). Property of a lady living in Kent, UK; formerly part of her grandfather's collection; acquired in Germany after WWII; thence by descent 2006. Fine condition.
15th-16th century AD. A substantial bronze roundel with radiating billets to the border, high-relief image of an archer on horseback with crested headgear advancing with bow flexed and arrow nocked. 155 grams, 9cm (3 1/2"). From a private collection formed in North America; acquired on the US art market in the early 1990s. Fine condition.
1st-4th century AD. A carved schist frieze fragment depicting a kilted figure with bare torso and shoulder-length hair advancing, holding a bow and knocked arrow; mounted on a custom-made stand. 9.5 kg, 52.5cm including stand (20 1/2"). Property of a North London gentleman; acquired on the UK art market before 2000. Fine condition.
London Transport Red Arrow (only) BUS STOP FLAG. A double-sided, hollow, 'boat'-type flag. These special flags were introduced from 1966 and all were replaced with standard flags in 1972. Stops served by Red Arrow services exclusively were only a very few locations and these flags are very scarce indeed. Measures 18" x 15.5" (46cm x 40cm). A few very small blemishes but generally in very good, ex-use condition. [1]
London Transport Bus & Red Arrow 'Request' BUS STOP FLAG. A double-sided, hollow, 'boat'-type flag of E3 size. These special flags were introduced from 1966 and all were replaced with standard flags in 1972. As with this example, most had their e-plate runners removed by LT. Given that the Red Arrows operated in very central London, the 'request' version of these flags was in only a very few locations and these are very scarce indeed. Measures 18" x 21" (46cm x 53cm). Some small chips and blemishes but generally in very good, ex-use condition. [1]
WW2 ENAMEL SIGN 'Public Shelter' with an arrow to direct people to shelter during war-time air-raids. Dates from the dark days of the early 1940s. Manufactured by Chromo Signs of Wolverhampton, one of the pioneer producers of enamel signs. A single-sided sign measuring 24" x 12" (61cm x 30cm) and in very good, ex-use condition, just a few small chips etc. An amazing survivor. [1]

These directional street-signs were fitted to lamp-posts etc. A double-sided, flanged sign measuring 24.5" x 10.5" (62cm x 27cm), complete with original fixing bracket and generally in very good, ex-use condition with a few small chips. Vehicle set (front & rear) of London Transport DESTINATION BLINDS, coded 'K' for a Red Arrow MBA at Victoria (GM) garage. The front is dated 23.2.77 and the rear 15.7.77. Feature the blue displays traditionally used by LT for limited-stop services. Both are complete blinds and in very good, ex-use condition. [2]
1930s/40s London Underground ENAMEL SIGN 'Way Out' with a 3-flighted arrow which suggests pre-WW2 or very early post-war. Measures 52.5" x 10.5" (133cm x 27cm) and is in excellent, ex-use condition with very minor blemishes only. A superb example which probably owes its condition to a working life under cover. [1]

1968 London Transport DESTINATION BLIND coded 'K' for a Red Arrow MBA at Walworth (WL) garage. Dated 17.9.68, that month saw the introduction of routes 501 & 505 so this is a very early blind. Features the blue displays used by LT for limited-stop services. Interestingly, has been mis-stamped 'RF Type Front' by Aldenham's Boards & Blinds Dept! In very good, ex-use condition. [1]

A British Mark I Lee Metford Bayonet and Scabbard, double edged and blade with a medial ridge running the full length of the blade, the ricasso is marked with a crown over 'VR' and '97.On the opposite side it is marked with a broad arrow and further armory marks.
