Inc label inside which looks to be midcentury (1) condition is generally strong with obvious ombre fade and a couple of small holes, buttons down the front are different to those at the neck upon inspection

4 original brass butt plates with hinged tab for an oil bottle. Believed to be for the No.4 Enfield rifle. 3 of the plates are marked with a letter E in diamond to the back of the tab. A couple of the plates also have broad arrow issue marks. All pieces would be suited to restoration projects. Approximately 11.7cm x 3.9cm. Condition: all show service wear, with knocks, minor scratching, and general all over patina. All of the hinges work as they should. Verdigris to the reverse side of each.

Lot 106

A WW2 era Fairbairn-Sykes commando knife, 2nd pattern. Brass grip with chequered or cross hatched detailing. Blued steel cross guard, stamped with the broad arrow mark and a letter. The letter is indistinctly, but could be an F, E, or even a B. Blued steel blade, of flattened diamond section, with no apparent makers marks. Complete with its original leather sheath, with brass chape and elasticated retaining strap. Approximately 28.5cm length. Condition: generally good, with service wear. Good patination to the brass handle, and most of bluing still present to the cross guard and blade. The leather sheath has wear, with the belt loop being partly detached.

A VINTAGE HAMILTON BRITISH MILITARY ISSUE WRISTWATCH WITH BROAD ARROW SYMBOL, circa 1970's, matt black dial with illuminous Arabic markers, silver coloured hands and second sweep, the dial is signed 'Hamilton Swiss', with Tritium symbol and broad arrow symbol, case diameter approx. 35.5mm, manual winding movement, the watch is on a cord strap with tang style buckle, case back numbered 523-8290 W10-6645-99 8796/73 with broad arrow facing up (condition report: repair present to hands, a white infill has been added at a later date, signs of wear to dial, possible repair marks, a few white dots present to 4 and 9 of the dial, strap frayed at one end, the watch is currently functioning, movement untested for working order)
