Lens shows no makers name on the (unusual) black rim, just the serial number 306329 & description. There is no indication that other markings have been removed. It tapers to the front, with no 'tab' on the aperture rim. It is marked with an unusual infinity symbol down to 3.5 feet, but the ring does move past this figure a little. Apertures run from f2 down to f16, with the '6' of 16 being very slightly different to most Nikon markings. The apertures run counter-clockwise, the opposite way to other Nikon RF lenses with the indicator arrow in black. When fitted to a Reid, Leica, Leotax, or Nicca the infinity lock ends up at around the 11 o'clock position instead of around the expected 7 o'clock position. No other examples of this type of lens can be found. (JVC).
