14 nn. Bl. Mit großem Titelholzschnitt und 13 ganzseitigen Textholzschnitten. 18 x 13 cm. Modernes Halbleinen (unscheinbare Gebrauchsspuren). (Nürnberg, Johannes Weyssenburger, 1512). VD16 A 3806. STC 48. Proctor 11064. Fairfax Murray I, 44. Weigel-Zestermann II, 58, 247. "The 11 full-page cuts are of a curious character, being in outline with slight hatching, and are naturally adapted from the original xylographs. Each is surrounded by a border of foliage, white on black ground, with figures, such as Death with bow and arrow pursuing a youth, two wild warriors, a skeleton, and Pyramus & Thisbe. These cuts occupy the versos of A3 to C3 and are followed by a 12th cut (of a different character) on last leaf, representing the Archangel Michael weighing souls, torments by demons, &c. This cut may have been copied from a similar one made to match other reduced copies of the original xylographs in an undated edition, probably by G. Suchs at Nuremberg" (Fairfax Murray).
