A WWII Air Ministry astro compass Mark II, in its wooden carrying case; a Thermos flask, the base with broad arrow and 1945; an Air Ministry steel “First Aid Outfit” box from an escape dingy (paint worn); “The Paragon Case”, a first aid wall cabinet with hinge down door having printed label from the Factory Department of the Home Office, 1926; a periscope from a WWII armoured fighting vehicle; a WWI trench art ashtray; and a large fragment of alloy skin from a crashed aircraft. Various conditions.
An interesting 19th century heavy iron strong box, the lid having two sunken panels embossed with Victorian crown over “R” (Revenue ?) over a broad arrow, the central key hole with pivoted circular cover, with hinged handle to the lid and a hinged carrying handle at each end, 17½” x 12” x 9” deep, painted black overall, with a key. GC
A .56” Tower percussion Sea Service pistol, first type, 11½” overall, barrel 6” with Tower proofs and ordnance inspector’s marks; the flat stepped lock engraved with crown over “VR” and “Tower 1842”; walnut fullstock with broad arrow over “BO” mark, regulation brass mounts, lanyard ring, swivel ramrod, and 5” steel belt hook. GWO & basically GC (lock and barrel polished bright over some pitting, stock slightly bruised and worn, the belt hook a replacement) Plate 11

A World War II British Military Fleet Air Arm Navy Pilot's Centre Seconds Wristwatch, signed Omega, ref: 2292, 1943, (calibre 30T2) lever movement signed and numbered 9951859, silvered dial with Arabic numerals, 'Duralumin' case finish with a steel snap-on back military issue marks H.S.8 broad arrow 7743, inside back cover numbered 2292, 33mm wide see illustration These Omega Pilots' watches were Issued to Navy pilots flying off aircraft carriers in WW2 . 15.06.18, The duralumin surfaces are discoloured and rubbed in parts, case with surface scratches and minor dents in parts, fixed bars between the lugs have now been removed and replaced with spring bars, later strap and buckle, dial with small staining marks and minor scratches, later Omega crown, hand setting correctly and winding smoothly, movement in going order.
A World War II Military Wristwatch, signed Jaeger LeCoultre, know by collectors as one of ''The Dirty Dozen'', circa 1944, (calibre 479) lever movement signed and numbered 323980, black dial with luminous Arabic numerals, signed and with a military broad arrow, seconds dial, luminous cathedral hands, chrome plated metal case with a stainless steel screw back engraved with a broad arrow WWW F 15360 286049, inside back cover with repeated numbers, fixed bars between the lugs, 35mm wide see illustration. 13.06.18, Case with scratches, chrome finish is rubbed in parts, bezel and top right hand side lug with deeper scratches, bezel with one dent positioned next to the crown, case with small pitting marks in places, later bracelet, plexi glass with scratches, dial with small scratches and stained in parts, outer luminous baton and dot markers are faded and the luminous is slightly lacking in parts, hands with luminous missing, balance is swinging slowly, movement is clean, in going order.
A British Military Royal Air Force Stainless Steel Centre Seconds Wristwatch, signed Omega, ref: 2777-1, 1953, (calibre 283) lever movement signed and numbered 12908970, blued overcoil hairspring, dust cover, black dial with Arabic numerals, minutes track, outer luminous dot and baton markers, dial marked with Government broad arrow issue symbol and T in a circle for tritium, screw back engraved with military marks Government broad arrow, NATO code mark 6645-101000, aircrew issue 6B/542 and stores number and year of issue 5437/53, fixed bars between the lugs, inside back cover numbered 2777-1, 36mm, with an Omega service box and a service receipt dated 25/03/2015 see illustration It is understood that the Omega records show that the British Government ordered 5,900 pieces of this model and issued them in 1953, for one year only.. 07.06.18, Case sides, bezel and lugs with small dents, watch has been serviced back in 2015 at Ogdens, new Omega crown, dial outer border with very small chips and discoloured between 7 and 11 which is clearer under an eyeglass, dial outer border with minor staining at 2, dial baton and dot luminous markers have faded but nicely aged, dial with minor scratches and one minor stain mark, these marks are only visible under an eyeglass, seconds hand is discoloured and luminous is lacking in parts, minute and hour hands with new luminous, later strap, hand setting correctly and winding smoothly, movement in going order.
