Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) set off many traps, including arrows fired out of the walls, as he rushed to escape the crumbling temple after obtaining the idol.This arrow features a dense rubber arrowhead painted gold and mounted to a hollow plastic shaft, allowing it to be fired out of an air cannon on set. It is intentionally distressed by production to appear ancient with flaking paint and uneven edges on the arrowhead. Robin Hood, a skilled archer, used his bow and arrow in his and his allies' rebellion against the forces of the Sheriff of Nottingham (Alan Rickman). Details in the woodgrain of this longbow screen-match to the climactic sequence in which Robin Hood helped sneak weapons into Nottingham's castle to break free the captured outlaws.Custom-made for the production, this lightweight longbow features brown wood limbs with a dark brown leatherette grip and string grooves blackened at the ends by production. Riley Hale (Christian Slater) and Terry Carmichael (Samantha Mathis) hijacked one of Vic "Deak" Deakins' (John Travolta) team's Humvees while trying to regain control of the bombs Deakins stole.This lot consists of a green Humvee model miniature constructed primarily of resin and plastic with intentional, production-applied distressing including brown stains from sand and dirt as well as a torn black fabric canopy in the back; and a silver-color and black resin cast resin bomb model miniature with adhered graphics. Both exhibit wear from use and age, including scuffing. The Humvee has undergone sympathetic repair to reattach small pieces that had broken off, and the bomb exhibits decal peeling and dried glue. It consists of a navy blue wool jacket with four gold-color buttons, two large kangaroo side pockets trimmed in silver-color piping, and a silver-color metal "Captain Kangaroo" badge attached to the lapel; matching navy blue pants with silver-color piping on the outer seam and an Eaves Costume Company maker's label on the interior; two purple puppets made of faux fur; and a white faux carnation flower.Also included to complete the display are a white Arrow button-up shirt (Size L), black leather Santoni shoes (Size 12), and four stuffed lion plushies, none of which are original to the production. British Pattern 1841 .704 Brunswick percussion rifle, 30 inch barrel rifled with two grooves for a belted ball, fitted with bayonet bar and folding leaf sight, Crown VR lock stamped 1864 Tower along with broad arrow and 'I' for India, brass furniture including patchbox. Section 58 (2) Antique / obsolete calibre, can be owned without a licence. Buyer must be over the age of 18.116cm long The rifle is quite worn and corroded throughout and shows signs of a long life is a harsh climate. The metalwork has overall light pitting and some surface corrosion. The stock has a rubbed feel from overall wear and most metal parts stand proud of the surface. The bore is corroded and fuzzy throughout. The action has a reasonable spring but the sear will not engage the tumbler for full cock. The hammer shroud that covers the percussion cap when fired has worn through in one area. The stock has a duffle cut at the mid point, there is a split related to the ramrod channel, and also another just ahead of the trigger guard. There are lots of dents and marks and wear patterns.
