London & Epping Forest 27in x 33in (68.5cm x 84cm), (iii) England & Wales, sheet 9 A 42in x 33in (1070cm x 84cm) as used for pre D-day training; a British Army Officer's Sam Browne Belt, stamped 34; British Army issue Binoculars, bino-prism No.2 MkII, No.43639, dated 1942 with broad WD arrow devices; a U.S. Army Medical Department, First Aid Kit, in its waterproof metal container, containing most of original contents, (as issued to British and American DUKWs for D-day landings); and a British Army Service Corps, enamel and chrome-plated car badge, numbered 534 by J.R.G & S. of London. Provenance: Lieutenant Hansell, 536 General Transport Company (DUKWs, 21st Army Brigade, D-Day + 3 (9th June).

A US Fighting Knife marked "US M3 Imperial" together with matching composition scabbard stamped US M8 BMCo; a British Survival Knife stamped 278214, arrow and 84 with Hopkinson mark with leather scabbard; a modern Bayonet with plastic grip and scabbard, bottle opener at the top of crossguard, wire cutter, only marks are 8001020 and a Commando type knife with leather scabbard, no marks to blade

Also a Royal Mountain Artillery gun team set, comprising mounted officer, 6 mules, gun frame, gun barrel and wheels, plus 4 soldiers on foot. Also in lot 9 running Zulus with knobkerries, spears, bow and arrow. GC-some repainting. Some cleaning required.
A .65" percussion constabulary carbine, 42½" overall, barrel 26¾" with traces of Tower proofs and with Lovell's spring bayonet catch below muzzle, the lock engraved with crowned VR and Tower 1846, walnut fullstock with broad arrow and BO mark on butt, regulation brass mounts, the butt plate tang engraved RP.736, original steel ramrod, sling swivels. GWO & C (barrel and ramrod moderately pitted overall and cleaned, light pitting and wear to lock, some bruising to stock) Plate 11
LMS Handlamp and a WD Handlamp. Totally unrestored. Together with a very interesting album of miscellaneous paperwork to include some Handbills, noted a rare Festiniog Railway showing Duffws to Tanybwlch dated 1911 and an LMS example for Ripon Races August 1925. Also a quantity of LYR and other company ephemera and a BR (double arrow era) Letterpress Poster with image of station warning of the closure of Hanwell station for renovation, having been approved by Ealing Council. Must be viewed.
