A military issue Wilkinson of London sawback bayonet, the blade with broad arrow and manufacturer's stamps to base, blade length 57cm, to shaped brass guard and ribbed grip, and a further smaller sawback bayonet stamped to blade base 'Gebr. Samson Suhl' and further to crossguard 'R.L.4.28' to brass hilt, both lacking scabbards (2).

An antique silver and parcel gilt cylindrical footed Pyx, probably German, believed 17th century or earlier, stamped with 'A' with double square on lid rim, main body and foot, other mark on main body indistinct, the foot also stamped twice with 'FT' within shaped border and other indistinct marks, the cylindrical receptacle with domed lockable hinged lid with knop finial, opening to reveal a gilt interior, the main body with rectangular segmented panels, separated by an arrow decoration, each panel engraved with a different design, the first with inscription,translating to 'Praise be to Jesus most gracious sacrament, who will give food in our midst', the next with 'IHS' monogram symbol, flanked by winged cherubs/angels, the two other panels engraved with items of worship etc., raised on single circular spreading foot, 4in. (10.2cm.) high, weight 6.25 tr.oz., *Condition: gilt lose throughout, spreading foot dented.

dating: Third quarter of the 19th Century provenance: England, Octagonal, rifled, cal. 36 barrel, circular, brass fore-sight, marking 'ADDRESS COL. COLT LONDON', London test-bed stamps. Military mark Broad Arrow on the left side, surmounting the letters 'WD'. Smooth, percussion, six-shot cylinder, with traces of engraved naval battle scene, London test-bed stamps and serial number. Frame marked 'COLT'S / PATENT'. In working order. Iron trigger-guard and grip, wooden grip scales in one piece, with circular hole and number '3'. Some pitting. Serial number '20xxx' matching on the barrel, frame, grip, trigger-guard and cylinder. length 33,5 cm.
dating: circa 1800 provenance: India, Strong, straight, double-edged blade with central raiser and arrow-groove, strongly enlarged tip. Iron grip of typical shape, with double crossbar, completely covered with golden floral motifs. Wooden scabbard, covered with green velvet (completely worn) and bands in gilded thread. length 49 cm.
dating: 18th Century provenance: Ottoman Empire, Wide, curved, single-and false-edged blade with groove on the back, areas with rust damages. First two quarters on both sides with long cartouches with gold-inlaid inscriptions in Arabic, back on the groove's length with raiser, above gilded and with rests of inscriptions. Silver hilt with cross-quillon, engraved and nielloed with geometrical motifs. Grip with horn grip scales and angled pommel. Wooden scabbard, completely covered with silver foil, engraved and nielloed, on the right side above Ulysses with a bow and arrow in his hand, with a bandeau featuring a short inscription in Greek, an arm trophy at his feet; central part with a lion with a collar, trophy and deer; lower part decorated with a double eagle and floral motifs; opposite side with a star and floral motifs in the upper segment, a hunter in the forest in the center, pointing with a long flintlock rifle the two deer, a marine monster and bird below, divided by floral motifs. Two suspension rings. length 79 cm.
dating: Third quarter of the 19th Century provenance: Papal States, Round, rifled, 13 mm cal. barrel, with octagonal breech, provided with a slot for a bayonet, foldaway and adjustable rear sight, with pontifical stamp, 'A' marks inside a circle that flank an arrow, serial number 'FI 11xxx'. Frame with matching serial number, caption 'BREVET REMINGTON' with patent number and 'NAGANT'. In working order. Wooden butt (restored woodworm holes) and fore-end. Iron ramrod. length 131 cm.
dating: Third quarter of the 19th Century provenance: Russia, Round, rifled, 16 mm cal. barrel, provided with fore-sight and adjustable rear sight, re-finished, with remains of numbering and stamps. Brass breech block, with iron bolt, Cyrillic stamps, remains of stamps and numbering not clearly readable. Backward spring lock (pitting), dated '1859' and with remains of marking. In working order.
