Ca. AD 800 - 1000 A Viking iron arrowhead with a large swallowtail point, primarily for use against animals but extremely adaptable for use in a military context. Archery played a significant role in Viking culture. Viking bows were typically made from strong and flexible woods such as yew, ash, or elm. The bows were often longbows, designed to be powerful and accurate over long distances. Arrows were usually made from wood with iron arrowheads. The shafts were usually made from woods like birch or pine, and the fletchings, the feathers at the end of the arrow, were typically made from bird feathers, commonly goose. These were produced for pilots and officersCase with surface scratches, bottom left hand side lug with small dents to the edges, bezel with small dents in parts, back cover with some scratches around the outer edge, crown with small dents, plexi glass with scratches and cracks, nato strap is missing, original dial finish in good condition, luminous hour markers and Arabic markers are all evenly faded and have a nice aged patina, luminous has faded to the hands, hand setting correctly, winding smoothly, movement in going order.
A Swiss Silver-Gilt and Enamel Timepiece, Maker's Mark an Arrow Piercing a Heart, Circa 1900, Numbered 29330, The Dial Signed Colombia, Genève in the style of an 18th-century Neuchâtelois bracket-clock, tapering and overall decorated with green guilloche enamel and painted with flowers, all within white enamel borders, with an openwork foliage panel below the round dial, with Arabic numerals, the back hinged to reveal the movement, in fitted leather-covered casethe timepiece 10.5cm high Marked on back of hinged door with maker's mark and Swiss bear standard mark inside. Further marked below hinged door with Swiss bear standard mark. Each piece further stamped '29330'. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. There are some minor chips to the white enamel borders on top and a possible crack to the enamel on one side. There are some scuffs and marks to the case. The silk inside damaged in some places. The dial surface clean. The movement winding smoothly and hands setting correctly. Movement in going order.

A rare enamel and silver suffragette 'Holloway Prison' brooch, circa 1909, designed as the portcullis gate of the House of Commons, set to the centre with a broad arrow symbol applied with enamel in the suffragette colours of purple, white and green, the corners of the portcullis each suspending a length of chain, length 2.7cm, signed Toye & Co. LondonDesigned by Sylvia Pankhurst, this brooch was awarded to suffragettes who had been imprisoned for their protests in Holloway Prison, presented to them upon their release. The subversive design combined the iconography of prisoner's uniforms with the suffragette colours, making it a potent symbol of the struggle for women's suffrage, described by the WSPU newspaper Votes for Women in April 1909 as 'The Victoria Cross of the Union'.

The holder depicts a scene of two 4-clawed dragons chasing a flaming pearl surrounded by ruyi clouds motifs and two oxidised bands with flowers and leaves relief under the rim and sea wave relief around the base.
