WW2 British 1943 Dated Ammo Boots, black leather examples complete with the original soles and heel. Size stamped 8 and with 1943 date. Accompanied by a pair of brown leather British army boots with War Department broad arrow stamps to the top. Both pairs of boot remain in good condition overall. (2 items)

Lot 909

WW2 1/4th Battalion South Lancashire Regiment 55th (West Lancashire) Infantry Division Officers Battle Dress Blouse, 1937 pattern battle dress blouse with concealed button front. Embroidered white on red regimental shoulder titles with embroidered 55th Infantry division formation sign, three red felt brigade bars and silk regimental ribbon. Officers rank pips for Lieutenant. Battle dress with original tailors label to inside, details not clear. Ink stamped to the inside with War Department broad arrow and date letter “Q” for 1940. Battle dress shows service wear but generally a good example. The 1/4th Territorial Battalion was raised in 1939 as a 2nd Line Territorial Army battalion, later re-designated the 1/4th Battalion. Both the 1/4th and 2/4th battalions served in the 164th Infantry Brigade, attached to the 55th (West Lancashire) Division. The battalion was one of the first to land at Sword Beach during the Normandy landings on 6th June 1944. They served as normal infantrymen for the duration of the Battle of Normandy until being withdrawn, with the rest of the division, to England in September 1944.

Scarce WW2 British Full Battle Assault Jerkin, of brown canvas cloth with Bren gun pouches to the front, side pouches, fixed large pack to the reverse (missing fixing toggles) and lower pouch to the reverse. Complete with the original webbing and toggle straps. Stamped inside SMALL and SOFT KIT with broad arrow WD stamp, makers mark M&Co with 1943 date. Inked to the inside top, “J BATTERSBY 596 L.A.A R.A”. Good used example.

An incredible ' shop fresh ' original vintage Corgi Toys diecast model No. 497 The Man From UNCLE ' Gun Firing Thrush-Buster ' set. From an ex-shop-stock clearance. Rarer white issue model, being the first issue with cast lamps and hubs. The model appearing mint+ in condition. Still retains the yellow and red 'arrow' slip-card topper packaging, and the small cardboard ring to protect the inner box. The inner card protector slip also remains present. The display stand appears mint to mint+ with only a very small pin hole and very minor waving just to the Man From U.N.C.L.E logo (see photo). Outer box is mint to mint+ also, with only very minor scuffs to the flaps. Very likely the best known example of this rare white variation in existence. An incredible opportunity to own this iconic Corgi model.
