ANATOMY - An early 20th century half human skeleton (disassembled), the skull with upper jaw and removable top, other bones believed to be femur; tibia; humerus; vertebrae; part pelvis and many more, some bones with red staining, probably for medical aid, comes in pine storage/travel box with original travel stickers to the lid, together with set of surgical instruments by 'Evans & Wormull 31 Stamford St London SE' in mahogany fitted box, the brass plaque to lid with broad arrow, other pieces include two canvas rolls of instruments, for use in the field, manufactured by 'S. Rampling Cambridge' and many other medical aids. (quantity)* Condition: Please note that we are not experts in this field. A good early 19th century Channel Islands inlaid mahogany longcase clock, by Michel Quesnel of Jersey, the arched brass dial with silvered Roman chapter ring, gilt brass floral and scroll spandrels, silvered strike/silent dial t arch, matted centre with silvered subsidiary seconds and date aperture, signed to a silvered plaque, fronting an eight day bell strike movement, the case with boxwood strung arched hood with two giltwood finials to the stepped moulded cornice and chamfered pilasters, the trunk with arrow and shell inlaid arched door, over a parquetry banded base with central shell patera, on bracket feet united by a wavy apron, 87in. (221cm.) high.
A George I Channel Islands silver trefid spoon, c. 1730, maker's mark TM struck once to lower stem (Thomas David Mauger, Jersey c. 1730-1796), with typical arrow shoe piece to bowl, inscribed 'MRL FAT' beneath terminal, 7¼in. (18.4cm.) long, weight 0.96 tr.oz. *Condition: the bowl hammered and slightly misshapen, otherwise good.

GWO & C (the convex glass a contemporary replacement). Timor was one of twelve makers of this pattern watch, known by collectors as "The dirty dozen"
An extremely fine .577" 1856 pattern rifled percussion cavalry pistol carbine, the pistol 15½" overall, barrel 10" with 5 groove rifling and two folding leaf rearsights, the breech bearing Tower proof and ordnance viewer's and inspector's marks; lock engraved with crowned 'VR' and '1857' over 'Tower', and with ordnance viewer's and inspector's marks; nicely figured walnut fullstock, the butt deeply stamped with broad arrow and'WD' and with inspector's marks, the left side with stock maker's and assembler's names "J Smith" and "Hollis & Sheath", with regulation brass mounts, swivel ramrod, and lanyard ring, the butt having elongated trigger guard and butt cap tang slotted to take the walnut carbine stock, which is deeply stamped with broad arrow and 'WD', large crown over 'VR', inspector's mark and "Hollis & Sheath" and fitted with sling swivel. Very Good Working Order and almost as made, retaining virtually all original finish. Plate 24 Note: these were made for the Yeomanry with approximately 1200 only issued.

GC (not working). Timor was one of twelve makers of this pattern watch, known by collectors as "The dirty dozen".
A .56" Tower percussion Sea Service or Coast Guard pistol, the 6" barrel bearing Tower proofs and a series of barrel viewers marks; the lock engraved with crowned VR and Tower 1844; walnut fullstock stamped with broad arrow over "BO", various viewer's marks and stock maker's name "Cutler & Son"; regulation brass mounts, the butt cap with lanyard swivel, and swivel ramrod; no trace of ever having had a belt hook. GWO & C (the hammer and hammer screw replaced). Blackmore states that those pistols without a belt hook were issued to police, Land Transport Corps and forces in New South Wales, Victoria and Van Dieman's land. Plate 4 .
An interesting silver plated promotional pocket match book case, engraved "Gordon Waller & Co. Sonia Works, Carpenter Road, London E15" in lid and containing an unused book of 20 matches 2¼" x1½" x 3/8"; a silver plated pocket cigarette case with coloured wheel logo of Rudge Whitworth, Coventry in lid; a bosun's call, stamped broad arrow, with suspension cord; a BWM (10334 Pte H L Marshall. G Gds) and 2 other medals. GC
A 5 shot 54 bore British Military issue Beaumont Adams DA percussion revolver, 12" overall, barrel 5¾", London proved, the top strap engraved "London Armoury"; the frame engraved "B8835/ Adams' Patent No 24500.R" and on the right side with broad arrow over "WD", the cylinder also engraved "24500.R", the chequered walnut butt pierced for lanyard. GWO & basically GC (slightly worn and refinished overall, the butt patched with filler and inset with small glass disc?) Plate 4.
