A 1986 BMW E28 M535i, registration number D133 KKO, chassis number WBADC820300660390, Midnight blue with cream M-Tech leather. An iconic road burner, the M535i is one of those few cars, that along with the Porsche 911 and VW Golf GTI, summed up the 'big braces' period of the late 1980s. Supplied new in October 1986 this automatic came with a host of factory options, including central locking with anti-theft system, M-Tech suspension, glass electric sunroof, onboard trip computer with remote control and rear sun blind. Sitting on genuine 16 inch Hartge HS5 alloys with correct Avon tyres, the car was used regularly up to 2005, a statement supported by a stamped service book (30 stamps) and every MOT certificate from 1990 onwards. Between 2005 and 2010 we understand that the car was barn stored and in need of restoration. Following acquisition the following year by a new enthusiastic owner, the BMW was restored (all new wings and doors) and treated to a bare metal re-paint. At the same time, the suspension was replaced with genuine M-Tech parts, the dash-top was renewed and a factory exhaust system fitted. Now showing 134,000 miles the car comes with stamped Handbook/Service Book, old MOT certificates from 1990 onwards and bills from the 2011 restoration. V5C, MOT to July 2016 See illustration

Since purchasing the Morris the vehicle has been used to attend local classic car shows and events. The Morris is offered for auction with a history file containing a photocopy of the original RF60, a Heritage certificate, expired MOTs and sundry paperwork. V5C, MOT and tax exempt See illustration
