A circa 1900's platinum and diamond set ladies dress watch by C.H. Meylan, Brassus, Swiss. The lozenge shaped platinum case ( serial no 27816 ) adorned with marquise and round cut diamonds. Estimated total diamond weight of 1.7cts. The two principal diamonds assessed to be 0.27cts each and of VS clarity. The verso of the case with chased decorated borders and notation ' Anna M Lane, Jacksonville FLA, Jessie E Carroll. The silvered dial with Arabic numerals having 18 jewel movement ( serial no 30890 ). Set to a ribbon strap. Watch case dimensions 4.5cms long x 1.3cms wide. Total weight 21g.
