VAN CLEEF & ARPELS - An Amethyst and Diamond Ring,Of geometric design set with an oval double cabochon amethyst, each four corner claws set with a modern round brilliant cut diamond, the mount side panels signed with large VCA logo, mounted in 18ct yellow gold, signed Van Cleef & Arpels and numbered BL28635, size M (UK) / 52 (EU), 25.4g . Condition Report: The amethyst is estimated to weigh 25.00ct and is a vivid purple colour with strong saturation and a few very light surface abrasions. The diamonds are bright and lively. The mount has light surface abrasions from general use. Overall the ring is in very good condition.
A 2.20 Carat Single Stone Diamond Ring,set with a modern round brilliant cut natural diamond of approximately 2.20 carats, mounted in 18ct white gold four-claw setting, size K, 4g . Condition Report: The diamond is bright and lively with a slight yellow tint and several internal feather and black spot inclusions, some of which are just about visible without a loupe, colour approx L/M, clarity approx SI2/SI3. The mount only has very light surface abrasions. Overall very good condition.
RITZ FINE JEWELLERY - A Pink and Green Sapphire and Diamond Ring,designed as a belt buckle set with round cut sapphires and diamonds, the diamonds totalling approximately 0.25 carats, signed Ritz London, numbered, mounted in 18ct white gold, French Assay marks, full UK hallmarks London 2002, size M/N, 12.6g . Condition Report: The pink sapphires are a vivid reddish-pink. The green sapphires are a pale green. The diamonds are very bright and lively. The mount has light surface wear, mainly on the back of the shank, but is still heavy gauge. Overall in very good condition.
An Art Deco Diamond Bombe Ring,circa 1930, the bombe set with round brilliant and transitional cut diamonds with pierced and engraved fleur-de-lis shoulders and shank, the diamonds totalling approximately 1.00 carats, unmarked mount tests as platinum, size M 1/2, 5g . Condition Report: The diamonds are quite bright and lively. The principal diamond colour approx H, clarity approx VS1/VS2. The mount has light wear with a small join mark on the back of the shank. Overall very good condition.
An Antique Georgian Emerald and Diamond Ring,circa 1820, set with five graduated octagonal step cut emeralds and round old cut diamonds, in openwork setting with fleur-de-lis shoulders and closed back, unmarked mount tests as 18ct yellow gold, size M, 2g . Condition Report: The emeralds are a medium green with minor internal inclusions only visible through a loupe. The diamonds are relatively bright and lively. The mount has light surface wear mainly to the back of the shank where there is a small join mark. Overall very good condition.
An Antique Georgian 'Au Firmament' Ring,circa 1790, the large navette plaque with purple foiled Strass glass panel set with winding cut-down collet clear paste surrounded by a border of clear paste, on trifurcated shoulders with closed back settings, unmarked mount tests as 15ct yellow gold topped with silver, panel 39.9 x 20.5mm size M, 11.5g . Condition Report: The paste stones are all present and some have been replace with more modern cuts, mostly all are heavily worn and a few have heavy chips. The glass panel has a faint 9mm crack near one tip, otherwise a good deep purple colour. The mount has general wear commensurate with age, along with a few minor dents on the close backing. Overall good condition.

Bauhaus.- A collection of five booklets issued by Bauhaus Dessau for the 1930 terms, some soiling and foxing, 1 booklet with numerous autograph corrections/ amendments original stapled wrappers, some leaves separating, hole-punched at left margins, some creasing and folds, 8vo, 1930.*** An excellent group of these exceptionally rare booklets, detailing entry conditions, fees, courses and listing the teachers: L. Feininger, W. Gropius, W. Kandinsky, P. Klee, H. Meyer, L. Moholy-Nagy, O. Schlemmer, J. Albers, H. Bayer, M. Breuer, H. Scheper, Joost Schmidt and Gunta Stölzl.

Dist III, light soiling, spotting and ink ownership inscription to title, Villerbanne, 1594 bound with Hotman (Jean) Anti-Choppinus seu Epistola congratulatoria M. Nicodemi Turlupini, 4 parts in 1, a few titles with woodcut devices, last f. a little spotted and soiled, Villerbanne, 1593, together 2 works in 1 vol., woodcut initials, head- and tail-pieces, 19th century half calf, rubbed, 8vo.*** A good collection of scarce anti-heretical works, the second also includes Theodore de Beze, Epistola magistri Benedicti Passavantii, and two works by Francois Hotman, Matagonis De Matagonibus decreerum Baccalaurei and Strigilis Papirii Massoni.
Dickens (Charles).- Public Dinner to William Charles Macready, Esq. on his Retirement from the Stage, On Saturday, March 1st, 1851, Sir Edward Bulwer Lytton, Bart., in the Chair, ticket, printed both sides on card, facsimile signature of Charles Dickens, ticket no. crossed through and "Peter Rackham" added in a contemporary hand, light toning, 1851; and 2 others, a programme for the Charles Dickens Bazaar, 1888 and the Yushudo Booksellers 1977 facsimile of A Christmas Carol and Oliver Twist, v.s. (3)*** The first a charming Dickens rarity, to raise funds for the author's friend, the actor William Charles Macready. Peter Rackham was a long-standing wealthy friend of Dickens', often willing to fund charitable ventures such as this. The stewards listed on the reverse, other than Dickens and Lytton, include Charles Babbage, Douglas Jerrold, Charles Knight, Sir Edwin Landseer, Alfred Tennyson and W. M. Thackeray.

Great Exhibition.- [Letter and document folding writing case] "Presented to Prvte J[ames] Inkpen R.S. & M. [Royal Sappers and Miners] By the Royal Commissioners of The Great Exhibition 1851", black morocco folding case containing ink bottle, pens and pencil, and contains a small quantity of documents relating to James Inkpen, a season ticket to the Great Exhibition costing 3 guineas to another person etc., documents v.s., v.d., folding case 1851.
