Oak long case clock, banded in mahogany circa 1820, the swans neck hood with a painted square face named M. Evans, Llangerniew (?), subsidiary seconds, date aperture and Arabic numerals, the field painted with floral swags and peacock feather spandrels, two train movement striking the hour on a trunk with a short door and set out panelled plinth. Height 213cm, 84in.
A gold and enamel snuff box, rubbed French prestige marks including T crowned, probably Berlin, circa 1790, the rim numbered: 845, circular, the lid set with an enamel plaque of Aurora and Cupid, the ground with translucent blue enamel over concentric turning stamped with pellets, leaf and opalescent bead borders, diameter 6.5cm, 2.625in, (2), Provenance, The inner lid with later gold plaque inscribed: Given by H. M. Queen Mary to Anne Ridpath. October 13th 1936
