A 1927 Morris Oxford Supersport special, registration number PT 9377, chassis number 193940, engine number 220619, aluminium and cloth. This charming Morris Oxford special has been restored and built to emulate the MG 14/40 with a dash of M-Type thrown in for good measure. The Morris was restored and built by a previous owner, a Bev Hicks, with photographs of the build on file. The two seat sports body is constructed of an aluminium bonnet and scuttle, and a rear fabric covered boat tail section which houses a stainless steel fuel tank and luggage compartment, finished off with touring front wings and cycle rear wings. The chassis is painted red with matching wire wheels and has Bishop Cam steering box. The balanced 1800 cc engine has a Ricardo type cylinder head, lightened flywheel, dyno driven magneto placed four inches further back in the chassis, a Kenlow electric fan and ***standard coolant (not Evans waterless coolant)***, all driven through a Morris four speed gearbox coupled to a remote from a P-Type MG. The interior is trimmed in red leather with matching carpets and weather gear consists of a double duck full tonneau and hood. This VSCC eligible Morris special will be offered for auction with drawings and notes on the build, photographs of the restoration and a large extensive history file. Rare V twin. Has had professional clean and alcohol proof lining applied to tank. Top of the range in the BSA's immediate pre-war catalogue was the V-Twin G14. Powered by a 980cc side valve twin engine was one of no less than fourteen models offered by the Birmingham company in 1936. The stylish model which suitable in solo form all pulling a family sized sidecar had great torque and pulling power. BR(M) 12in oak cased railway clock number 21201. The Smiths going barrel movement has just been oiled and the back of the dial has 21201 NORTHWICH written on the back indicating that this clock was in use there. A nice entry level railway clock in good working condition, complete with key.

Worksplate METROPOLITAN VICKERS 1955 from a Córas Iompair Éireann 001 / A Class locomotive that were manufactured by Metropolitan-Vickers at their Dukinfield Works in Manchester. Interestingly they were fitted with eight-cylinder two-stroke, port-controlled Crossley engines. The 001 Class locomotive was the backbone of mainline passenger and freight train services on the Irish railway network for forty years from 1955 until the mid-1990s when they were replaced by the new 201 Class. Rectangualr cast brass measuring 18in x 5in and M.1882 stamped into the back. Face restored rear ex loco.

BR(M) brass cased ships clock ex MV HIBERNIA. Smiths Astral going barrel movement with dial lettered BR(M), rear of brass case written WHEELHOUSE MV HIBERNIA. In a recently cleaned and overhauled condition complete with key and original mahogany backboard. The dial measures 6in diameter and the case 8in. The MV Hibernia entered service in 1949 and was used on the Holyhead to Dun Laoghaire British Sea Link Service until October 1976.

An Unusual Brass Grande Sonnerie Alarm Carriage Clock, circa 1850, case highly elaborate with floral and leaf decoration throughout, carrying handle and repeat button, base with acanthus leaves and leopards upon a central urn, enamel dial with Roman numerals, Breguet style hands, central alarm hand, unusual subsidiary hand below 6 for petite sonnerie/grande sonnerie/silent selections, twin barrel movement wound from the front, platform cylinder escapement stamped on the cock Fumey, striking on two bells, 18cm high over handle see illustration J-M Fumey was a maker of platform escapements in the mid 19th century. In the 1855 Paris Exhibition he was awarded a Bronze medal. 28.04.17, Glass panels with some chips, case surfaces are slightly discoloured in parts, left hand side with one screw missing, dial with one small hairline crack positioned below the left hand side winding hole, small scratches in parts and minor chips around the right hand side winding hole, movement is dirty and needs cleaning, striking barrel mainspring appears to have broken and unable to wind, the going barrel mainspring is fully wound, alarm is working, the strike work is not working and needs attention.

A Blue Enamel Diamond Solitaire Ring, a round brilliant cut diamond in a white claw setting within a 'bowl' top and to taping shoulders in blue enamel, on a plain polished shank, estimated diamond weight 0.20 carat approximately, finger size M see illustration There are two small chips to the enamel on the inside and outside of the bowl. It is not hallmarked or stamped but in our opinion would test as gold. The diamond measures 3.70mm in diameter approximately. The turquoise moves slightly in the setting and may require attention. It is stamped '18K' and in our opinion would test as gold. The turquoise measures 15.00mm x 11.50mm approximately.
